Hi everyone. A couple of spaces have opened up for art therapy, yoga therapy and movement clients in my practice near ballydehob. I take a holistic, trauma-informed and client-centred approach informed by 30 years experience as a facilitator and 14 years working as a therapist. I am passionate about offering a healing, empowering and safe space where we can work together using the unique toolkit of practices and techniques that I have gathered over the past 36 years. These are the tools I use to steer myself through life, they are tried and tested, and shared with a high professional standard, alongside heart and integrity. If you'd like a no obligation chat with me please do get in touch. I work with all ages and offer a sliding scale for payment for those who are in receipt of benefits/unwaged.

Bookings now open! A therapeutic, well-being group for women of all ages going through times of change, wishing for new direction or meaning, or to overcome stuckness.
Step into yourself, open up to authenticity and spontaneity, and live a more meaningful, empowered and creative life.
This is a journey of self-discovery, and coming home to yourself.
It is a place of support where we can feel less alone and walk the path together.

This group grew from a vision that arose in the early hours of a sleepless night.
A vision to combine all of my skills, all the work that I love, and share it with women going through times of change.
These practices have helped me to navigate the rocky roads that life has thrown my way.
It is my soul sharing, from my heart to yours.

Times of change can be a roller coaster: joyful, confusing, isolating, exciting, challenging, overwhelming. This course offers you a map to navigate that journey, to acquire tools to guide and nourish yourself along the way, and become empowered as you step into the unknown. You'll be held within a supportive safe space among a group of like-minded women and by highly experienced group facilitator.
Together we will dive into body connection, share what's in our heart and on our mind, and take time out from responsibilities and commitments to navigate the journey inwards to our true self.

This is a safe and sacred space for you to:

Take time out to reflect on where you are at in your present life
Explore what has led you to this point
Create a vision for the next stage of your life
Reflect on obstacles that may hinder you
Resource yourself with whatever you may need for that journey
Become more grounded and embodied
Learn practical tools that can help you navigate life challenges and support self-care

Cost:
Sliding scale depending on financial means Eu 160-200

TESTIMONIALS FROM PREVIOUS PARTICIPANTS

“I really enjoyed the group. It was a chance to meet new people, women who like me are juggling lots of things in life. The sessions were full of movement, art, talk and connection. I loved meeting everyone and having an evening to look forward to each week. Claire is a great facilitator bringing a light touch and an open heart and lots of good humour.”

"I thoroughly enjoyed participating in The Heroine's Journey.
Claire created a space where a group of women who were strangers to each other at the beginning of the course were able to open up, share vulnerability with each other, and feel supported by the group. There was a lovely mix of different activities each week to help us tap into our creativity as well as giving us much needed self-care moments. I highly recommend it!"

Amerta movement.
Spring workshops in West Cork.
Indoor and outdoor work, working on your own and in pairs or small groups. Dialogue, writing and art making to help digest and respond to the process.

Each day will begin with a period of guided movement to help you to arrive, attune to yourself, the space and the group. The day will include movement exploration, in part guided by Claire, as well as self-exploration of the day's themes.

The themes of each day are drawn from the teachings of Suprapto Suryadarmo, creator of Amerta movement who was my mentor and teacher for 23 years.
