Osteopaths use hands-on treatment to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, pain and recurrent illness. They train their palpation skills to an extremely refined level to find the underlying source of pain and discomfort. Their high level of anatomy training allows them to form a complete map of the body and treat areas that may be ignored by other disciplines such as the cranium (the head) and the organs. These areas may have been disturbed by episodes of illness, accidents,operations, lifestyle or birth trauma.

A space has unexpectedly opened up in the 11.45 Friday Reformer Class taught by Alex Daly in Reform Pilates@ the Marina Commercial Park. There are 5 weeks left in the term starting tomorrow, Friday. This is an Intermediate Class with a pelvic heath focus, so unfortunately not suitable for people with no previous Reformer experience. Would anyone care to join us? DM if interested!!

I am delighted to announce that that I am going to offer Reformer Pilates classes on Friday mornings starting on the 22nd of September in Reform Pilates@the Marina. I have spent the last year training and qualifying as a Reformer Pilates Instructor, and am excited about helping you in a new way.

There will be 2 classes;
1) A Stretch and Strengthen class with an emphasis on back health. Cost €135. 6 weeks Fridays at 9.15am.

We will stretch and lengthen the key muscle groups that we see most frequently causing problems at the clinic. As this is an entry level class all levels of experience are welcome.

2) Pelvic Health Reformer. Cost €135. 6 weeks. Fridays at 10.30am

The Pelvic Health Reformer class is for anyone who wants to get their pelvic floor back in shape after childbirth (minimum 12 weeks postpartum) people who struggle with urinary incontinence, mild prolapse, or woman who feel that their pelvic floor has become weak since the peri/menopause. The class will be a combination of education and exercise to help empower you to strengthen and care for your pelvic floor.

Numbers are limited to 6 participants per class. If you are interested please let us know by calling the office (0214801551) as soon as possible as availability will be on a first come first serve basis. If there is a lot of interest I will consider putting on more classes, so please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to sign up.
