Animal Reiki Level 1

All life-forms are in tune with the “earth’s heartbeat” resulting from our planet being encased in a layer of electrically charged particles called the ionosphere.
Coherence is a state where heart rhythms, brain waves, and respiration interact and synchronize, becoming
resonant and in tune one with the other. When in this
state, we are fully and deeply connected with other
beings. Through healing interaction with an animal we
can become coherent.
When your heart speaks, listen. I t is responding to something an animal wants you to know. Don’t be intimidated or shamed by other people who do not have your sensitivity.
Only when we look into our hearts will we awaken to reality, our vision becoming clear regarding what we
need to do for animals as a reciprocal agreement in
exchange for what they can teach us about life.
When the thinking mind recognises the healing heart

Blood Full Moon Eclipse 3rd March.

This Blood Full Moon feels especially personal for me. My Mam passed peacefully over the weekend. 💔🌙

There is a rawness to losing your mother. A stripping back. A purification that no ritual could ever replicate. The waves of it come and go sometimes gentle, sometimes crashing. I am learning not to brace against them. Just to let them wash through.

This Blood Moon carries a strong call to release old patterns, old pressures, the places we have been pushing too hard. I can feel where stress has lived in my body. I can feel where I have expected myself to be strong.

But Virgo’s wisdom whispers something softer:
Healing is not perfection.
Healing is care.

The horses have been my quiet companions in this. Standing beside me. Breathing with me. No fixing. No rushing. Just presence. 🐎

I was drawn to visit the sea today to allow the waves to hold what feels too big for words and watched the tide rise as it splashed up against the rocks.

I was allowing the tide take what needs to go.
I was honouring what has ended.
I was trusting what will begin.

If you are feeling this Eclipse too, be gentle with yourself.
Rest.
Journal.
Walk by the water.
Let your tears fall if they need to.

With every ending, there is a beginning.

Today we honour the powerful spirit of the Fire Horse a symbol of passion, courage, freedom and bold self-expression as we move toward the Chinese New Year on 17th February.

The Fire Horse carries a dynamic, heart-led energy. It asks:

Happy Valentine’s Day from all of us here at Epona 💘 Love is in the air 🩷

Today we’re celebrating LOVE and at Epona Retreat Centre we believe it all begins with Self-Love.

We can only truly love someone or something unconditionally to the extent that we love ourselves unconditionally.

When we love ourselves deeply, we begin to realise how abundant we truly are… and that all is well even in the moments life challenges us. Every second of every day holds an opportunity to choose love.

When we step into Self-Love and abundance, beautiful things begin to ripple outward.
I call them the Ripples of Self-Love ✨

These ripples include:

Level 1 is where we begin: learning how to offer Reiki in a way that honours the animal’s pace, boundaries, and choices.

There is no forcing, no expectation.
Only calm presence, deep listening, and trust.

It’s often the first time people truly slow down
enough to meet an animal where they are.

Happy Tuesday my Soul Tribe. 🌊 The sea doesn’t force the tide.
🐎 The herd doesn’t rush the horse.
🌿 Nature never asks us to become more by pushing harder.

So why do we?

Becoming your own person isn’t about willpower or proving anything. It’s about listening like a horse listens to the land beneath its hooves. Like the sea responds to the moon, not to pressure.

What is the one step you keep putting off because it feels too big?
What fear asks not to be conquered, but understood?

When conflict appears within you, gentleness is often the wisest response. The horses teach this. They feel first, respond second. The sea teaches this too, pulling back before it moves forward again.

When the mind spins, return to the senses. Feel the ground. Watch the water. Breathe!

Clarity doesn’t come from forcing the future. It comes from meeting this moment fully steady as the herd, expansive as the tide.

Bravery sometimes looks like slowing down. Trusting that becoming yourself is already underway.
