Low Back Pain :
A great infographic by .ekstrom showing how complex Low Back Pain can be.

Hopefully we can start changing the narrative and peoples perception of why they have Low Back Pain.
If we can change this and deal with the person as a whole, then hopefully we can make better progress in treating this complex issue that many of us will experience at some point in our lives.

Wishing all my Clients a very healthy year ahead for 2021.

As of the 4th of January I will be back operating out of my old premises in Dennehy's Health & Fitness Douglas in the Douglas Village Shopping Centre.
Due to recent government guidelines, the gym will be closed, but I will be open as normal for business.
Please just email me, send me a direct message here or ring the clinic number and I will make a plan to see you asap. Please rest assured that the rooms are cleaned and disinfected between people and I am taking the best precautions I can. Stay safe and see you soon.

Hi All,

I hope you have managed to keep safe during these strange times?
Just to let you all know that I am back up and operating again. Albeit in different circumstances, I will be running regular clinics during the week.
Precautions are in place for Physiotherapists to operate within national guidelines, and these are being adhered to.
I will use PPE and be disinfecting between clients.

I would appreciate it if you could please share and like to let people know.

Adolescents : if they are gaining so much of their adult body weight at this time, should we be training them differently to avoid injury? I think we certainly should be reducing their volume compared to what some of the teenagers are currently taking part in.
