After a very successful year our diary is now closed until early 2021!

2021 is the year we start the process of bringing our two sister clinics together (Fertility Health Clinic and the Women's Wellness Practice) as a 'Women's Wellness & Fertility' digital health business that can be accessed worldwide 🙂. The growth we've experienced during 2020 has been amazing and has led to this new venture. Keep tuned - exciting things ahead over the next months and years with digital health courses for you to enroll on and lots of content available to you on how to keep healthy and well as a woman! Our first digital course will be aimed at our fertility clients, and we will grow from there. FULL in-clinic services will still remain at the heart of our clinic work during 2021 so we will see you there!!

Take care & keep well
Liadh x

💛💛💛 Please share!!! 💛💛💛

Let's get endo on the agenda. The Republic of Ireland's Women's Health Taskforce has invited the public to say what it wants on the Year 2 agenda for the project. How can you let them know what you want? Go to https://www.menti.com/2txx1i44j5 to submit your suggestion.

This could be a fantastic way for endo patients and their loved ones all over the country to make our voices heard and to get people with the power to listen to us.

💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛

Some ideas for what to ask for? Menstrual health in schools, a multidisciplinary centre, an All Party Parliamentary Group on Endometriosis, closing the diagnostic gap, more treatment options, tackling waiting lists, subsidised fertility treatments, a national awareness campaign, research research research, patients at the tables with decision makers, psychological support, free contraceptive options for women with health conditions like endo, medical card, free period products, make flexible and remote working normal, there are so many things you can demand.

💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛

We might not get these things, but we can still shout about them and try.

💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛

We're not telling you what you write, you put in what YOU want and need.

💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛

Female Hormone Balance - a functional medicine approach

So many women and girls suffer from hormonal imbalances and debilitating gynaecological disorders. Often we are at a loss as to how to treat the pelvic pain, discomfort and related symptoms we can experience due to interstitial cystitis (IC), endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids and other gynae issues. Equally we can become debilitated by the emotional and physical symptoms of hormonal imbalances such as PMT, absent periods, heavy periods, painful periods and more.

Cork Hormone Health Clinic are experts in Functional Medicine, Biomedical Nutrition & Lifestyle Medicine and we have helped hundreds of women and girls reclaim their ‘female health’. Specialising in female hormone health, our role is to determine what is causing and driving your hormonal and gynae disorders. We then aim to help you correct this via personalised intervention programmes. Our approach is a non-medical, non-pharmaceutical approach, however our clinic is science & research based and we are likely to work closely with your GP and medical consultant if applicable.

Amazing things can happen when the body is looked at and treated under the lens of Functional Medicine, and so many of our clients have gained relieve through our programmes, and we hope you will too.

NOTE: your first port of call when suffering from any disorder should be to your GP/Medical Consultant as these are the highly skilled experts who are trained to diagnose issues that may require prompt medical attention.
