On Sunday 9th February 2025, we look forward to welcoming Juliette O’Connell, of to , for a breast cancer awareness and education talk.

Juliette is a breast cancer survivor and Outreach Coordinator for Breast Cancer Ireland.

In this talk Juliette will deliver information on advancements in research, explore signs and symptoms to look out for, explain how to perform a self-examination, as well as sharing her own experiences.

This evening will prove to be powerful, informative and supportive.

This is a free event, but numbers are limited and so people need to register in order to attend. Link and tickets in bio.

I was talking to a pregnant client this week about my own experience of a twin pregnancy, they asked me “how did you manage?!”…Reflexively, I replied with the usual sort of answer about ‘how you just have to get on with it’…

Later on though I found myself scrolling through old photos from that time.

It has been a long time since I’ve looked back at these photos and this time, when I looked at my heavily-pregnant-expecting-twins-self, I was shocked…How the f*% # did I manage?!?!…

The photo of me in the hospital was taken on the morning I gave birth to my twins…38/40, Twin 1: 7lbs1, Twin2: 6lbs9…🫣

The second photo, was me at 22/40, taken one morning before work…and I thought I was big then!

Reminding myself of how adaptable and resilient the human body can be…

The Children’s Continence Ireland conference in Athlone, 27th Nov 2024.

Lots of wonderful presentations and chances to talk passionate medics and healthcare professional involved in the field children’s continence…also always lovely to catch up with colleagues and friends. Thank you for the chats and giggles and Susan McDonnell-Dawes ❤️
