BRUCE REIHANA, Professional Rugby Player (May 2014)

236 caps for Northampton now playing for Bordeaux Begles in the top 14, Bruce Reihana giving his experience of using Forever Living Sport products.

My name is Bruce Reihana and I have played professional rugby for the past 20 years. I started in New Zealand where I played to the highest level, winning 2 Gold Medals for the NZ Sevens team in 2 Commonwealth Games. I played 11 tests for the NZ Maori All Blacks & my greatest achievement of all was making The All Blacks playing 2 tests & scoring 2 tries. My rugby career then took me to England where I played 9 seasons at Northampton Saints, finally finishing my career in 2014 in the Top14 competition in France for Union Bordeaux Begles where I played 3 seasons.

During my playing career, I’ve tried a wide range of products to assist me with recovery, fatigue, energy & muscle building & most have had the desired effect. Although having used various products for a long time, eventually they were playing havoc on my stomach & I started to suffer with IBS. However since I started taking Freedom drinking Gel my stomach issues cleared up & I've not had any problems since. Since using the Argi+, Arctic Sea, Ha Active & Ultra Light protein I have noticed I am as fit & as strong as I've ever been, still beating personal bests at the age of 38.

I suffered with a major knee injury in October 2013, I continued to use the products during my 6 month recovery period & I'm feeling great now, training hard most days and running again.

The Argi+ & Ultra Lite are great tasting drinks, no lumps or bad after taste. I started using the Argi+ after training as a recovery drink and felt it helped me to recover quicker & stopped cramping, which I'd previously suffered with. When I take Argi+ during my sessions, even though I have a strong work ethic anyway, I'd get the energy to push & work harder than I did before. The way I was training was impressing the coaches & team mates, which lead to a 40 player order of Argi+ every 6 weeks, to use after training for recovery & at half time on match days for the season of 2013/2014.

Adam Balding is an English rugby union footballer, currently playing for London Welsh.

Adam Balding came through Leicester Tigers academy and went on to make 66 appearances for the first XV. While there, he won the Premiership and Heineken Cup. Here's Adam's take on the Forever Living Sport products.

Having made over 300 first class appearances with a number of different premiership teams and sampled a huge range of supplements, pills, shakes and magic potions I can honestly say that the most benefit I have seen from the supplementation range is hands down the FLP range.
I have learned over the years that to use supplements there must be a clear reason with an end goal and with the products that I now use I feel that not only has this been achieved but I have now passed my previous expectations. There are 6 main products that I use and they are,

1, Forever freedom gel drink, 88% stable aloe with the other 12% consisting of glucosamine, chondroitin, msm, vitamins C & E. This product help maintains joint mobility, cartilage regeneration, helps cleanse the digestive tract including the colon for example. The reason why I take this product is due to my age 33 and the fact that I have technically a car crash every weekend when I play. So i am not only looking at the here and now but to the future after rugby as I still want to be able to be active not suffer due to the demands from the game which I love.

2, Arctic sea, this is a wonderful product full of Essential Fatty Acids which I have incorporated into my daily diet. I have found that this product has helped me shift excess body fat over a period of time also helping support my bodies cardiovascular system.

3, The forever living deodorant stick which does not contain harmful aluminum salts which are found in most deodorants. The other great thing about this product is the fact is does not stain clothing which has reduced my T shirt bill 4, Bee Pollen, this product has more calories per gram than any other supplement on the market. Packed full of vitamins, minerals and branch chain amino acids this is what I take on the day of the game to give me the energy to play 80minutes of rugby as I struggle to eat on the day of a game.

5, Garcinia plus tablets, these tablets help me regulate my eating habbits so I stop snacking due to the frequency of my meals. Also this product is derived from the garcinia cambogia fruit which again helps with weight management and also an appetite suppressant which enables me to be more disciplined with regarding food and maintain that all important playing weight.

6, Argi +, this is a truly amazing product as it helps me not only recover from heavy training cycles but build lean muscle mass/repair during the rugby season which is quite a hard thing to do. This is down to the wonderful amino acid L Arginine but there are many other benefits such as immune support, it helps with blood flow ( which is essential when nutrients and oxygen are trying to get to the cells).

Marco Schmidt - Shot Put

Marco Schmidt was 2011 and 2012, German Vice Champion in the shot put. The 30-year-old model athlete who missed the final battle by only 8 cm at the World Championships in Daegu, had already done with the 20.51 wide standard for the 2012 Olympic Games in London, but could not qualify final due to an injury. Now his long-term goal is the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Since November 2011, he trained with ARGI +.
