Taekwondo in Fermoy, Stryker’s family day and boxing in the city. Our volunteers are always happy to provide prehospital care at events to make them safer for participants and spectators. Ice cream does help.

Before looking after others our volunteers have the coffee to kick start a duty. Our crews were out today covering the Cork v Limerick football in Pairc Ui Chaoimh and the HYROX in Ballymaloe Grainstore. Well done and thanks to all for supporting events in our community.

On Easter Sunday our volunteers weren’t at home relaxing and watching TV. Instead they were out volunteering their time to help others. Thanks to all who continue their time every week

Today our crew were out in Ballinhassig providing cover at a point to point. There’s always some event needing cover and our volunteers will always make time to provide it.

As the days get longer and the days warmer our volunteers turn to ice cream while providing care. Roll on a long summer of duties.

Busy busy weekend warming up for St Patrick’s Day. Our crews covered Cork City FC ladies, Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Ballindenisk, IrishRugby U20s in Virgin Media Park and still made time to run an induction weekend for new volunteers. Sure what else would you be doing with your free time. Well done to all our fantastic volunteers who make these events possible by giving up their time.

It’s great to see lots of new faces in our Glanmire Division. New blood is essential for Divisions to thrive and Glanmire is clearly thriving. Welcome to these new volunteers and we look forward to welcoming them to duties soon.

Today our volunteers were out along with our colleagues from West Cork Rapid Response providing cover for the Blarney half marathon. A great team providing great cover.

We are very proud of our Glanmire Cadets who competed in today’s National Finals competition in Dublin. They came in second by only a couple of marks against some very tough opponents. Their care and skills in looking after their casualties was a credit to themselves and their trainers.
