Just wanted to say a massive thank you for your amazing birth prep workshop!! You wouldn’t believe the difference it made to me! I adore the golden thread and have been using it since then to settle myself with all the turbulence around me.
Our daughter's birth was really beautiful. I had 6 hours of prelabour at home during which I used the yoga positions and breathing and chanting om. Then at the hospital I was admitted at 930am and had her, drug free, at 230pm. The transition bit was the hardest part though the shortest, as you’d warned me, I kept asking my X if he thought I could do it. But the gas and air really helped when i got to the labour ward. Our daughter has a 99.6th centile Head but I had no tears just a graze from her fingers. She was a dote from the start, a very calm baby. She did turn anterior in the end!
Thanks again sue. I’ve told all the midwives I’ve seen about you and my phns as well. The midwives couldn’t believe how calm I was, they thought I was like a woman at 2cm dilation. And the midwife on the pre labour ward didn’t even want to check me, I knew I could feel the dilation was done (I was in the bath on the pre labour ward) and my girl was on her way ...
