Where does anger live in your body?

We often think of anger as just an emotion, but the body feels it too.

Unexpressed or unprocessed anger often takes up residence in:
- The jaw – clenched teeth, grinding, tension.
- The shoulders – tight, heavy, carrying the weight of what’s unspoken.
- The digestive system – knots in the stomach, acid reflux, or sluggish digestion.

And on a deeper level,the liver is the organ most affected by anger. When this emotion isn’t released or expressed in a healthy way, it can create imbalance in the liver’s energy, leaving you feeling irritable, fatigued, or even physically unwell.

When anger stays locked inside, we need to give the body safe ways to release, soften, and restore balance.

Gentle massage, breathwork, massage, kinesiology, and mindful awareness can all help your body let go of what it’s been holding onto.

Your body doesn’t lie — it tells your stories, and it wants to be heard. Listen to it! 👂❤️

Today marks 33 years since Dad left this earthly world and gained his angel wings. Not a day goes by without thinking of him, his love, and the lessons he left behind. I am so grateful that I got enough time for him to pass on his many gifts to me:

• His love of nature and gardening!
• His love of photography.
• His love of mindfulness (long before mindfulness was so popular) – he played patience, went for a cycle and wrote things down!!

Grief changes with time, but the love never fades. I carry him with me always, in my heart (and on my shoulder!!) and in the person I continue to become. 💙❤️

On National Family Day, I’m reminded of how important it is to cherish the people who make us feel safe, seen, and loved. 💚 It’s lovely to celebrate the bonds that hold us together, the fun and laughter we share and the support that keeps us going on a tough day. And I’m so proud of you all. ❤️🥰🤗

Family isn’t all about blood though. It’s about the people who share our highs and lows and who give us a hug when we need it most.

What Should I Wear or Bring to a Session?

This is a question I get asked a lot — especially by first-time visitors. The good news is you don’t need to bring much at all.

👕 Clothing:
Wear loose, comfortable clothes that allow you to relax. For kinesiology, it’s best to wear something easy to move in (like leggings or tracksuit bottoms) as we will be doing gentle muscle testing.

💧 Aftercare:
It’s a good idea to bring a bottle of water for after your session — staying hydrated supports your body’s natural healing and detox processes.

🛋️ And most importantly:
Bring yourself — exactly as you are. You don’t need to prepare, perform, or be anyone other than you. ❤️

🌍 Today is International Day of Sign Languages – a day to celebrate and raise awareness of the beauty, richness, and importance of sign languages worldwide.

Here in Ireland, we are proud to have Irish Sign Language (ISL), officially recognised since 2017. ISL is more than a way of communicating – it’s a community, and a lifeline for many people who are deaf or hard of hearing.

By learning even a few simple signs, we can create more inclusive spaces, break down barriers, and ensure everyone feels seen and heard. 💙

If you want to learn ISL, check out www.deaf.ie for classes in your area. I have included a copy of the ISL alphabet so you can learn and maybe spell a few words! The daily signers may laugh at how slow you are at signing, but I’m sure they will appreciate the effort!

We often think we need a complete overhaul to feel better — a new routine, a strict plan, or a dramatic lifestyle shift. But the truth is, it’s the small daily choices that make the biggest difference.

• Choosing to rest when your body asks for it.

• Drinking an extra glass of water.

• Taking five minutes (or even one minute) to breathe deeply.

• Saying no when you’re at your limit.

• Making space for laughter, connection, or stillness.

These choices may feel small in the moment, but they add up. They teach your body that it’s safe, cared for, and supported — and over time, that’s where real, lasting change happens.

Health isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about the gentle, consistent steps that build a foundation of balance and wellbeing. 💚
