What the heck are herbal antibiotics? Do they work? What about bacterial resistance? Are they safe for everyone? Can you take too much? When should you just go see the doc? All this and more on an afternoon exploring antimicrobials of the herbal world..

The WHO have confirmed that the world is running out of antibiotics. In part this is because bacteria can outsmart them and evolve to resist so rendering the antibiotic useless.
What about natural so called ‘antiobiotics’. We have a fair few herbs with antimicrobial properties but are they safe for YOU? When should we use them and how? Do they really work? And when should you really seek medical help? What about buzz words of the day like ‘immune boost?’ What does it mean and is it actually real?
On Sunday 24th March at 2pm-5(ish), in Malin, I’ll be teaching about some of these herbs, their use and application as well as how to prepare them. The cost is €30. There are very limited places and you must PM for a place. If I could underline and emphasise that last bit- PM for a space (there’s only 8 available)

Just a couple of days ago this room was full of old tomato plants (experiment) soil samples and then we had a bad flood, and now it is transformed for class 1 of the year. Looking forward to it!
