In these unprecedented times, we have adjusted our routines in the pharmacy in accordance to HSE guidelines.

Sandycove Pharmacy remains open 9-18, Monday to Saturday. Our team is here to help!
There is an increased pressure on the shop at the moment and we thank you sincerely for your patience.
Please note that we are experiencing a high number of phone calls right now. If you have concerns or questions about COVID-19 (Coronavirus) we kindly direct you to call HSE Live on 1850 24 1850, or visit their webpage https://www2.hse.ie/conditions/coronavirus/coronavirus.html
If you develop symptoms of COVID-19, you will need to self-isolate and phone your GP. Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. The GP will assess you over the phone. If they think you need to be tested for coronavirus, they will arrange a test.
The main symptoms to look out for are:
• A cough – this can be any kind of cough, not just dry
• Shortness of breath
• Breathing difficulties
• Fever (high temperature – 38 degrees Celsius or above)

OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY IS THE SAFETY OF OUR CUSTOMERS AND STAFF
⬇️ Please note the below adjustments and safety measures to be taken
This is to ensure efficient service in a safe and secure environment and minimise time spent in the pharmacy;
▪️All NEW prescriptions can be emailed to us: sandycovepharmacy@gmail.com. Please bring the original prescription with you to collect the medication.
▪️Existing prescriptions may be phoned in 01-2801587, or requested by email. If neither is a possibility we ask you drop in the prescription promptly and call back for collection at an advised time.
▪️Please note, in line with social distancing, only 2 customers are allowed inside the shop at the same time.
▪️If queuing outside the pharmacy, please observe the social distancing 2 metre (6.5 feet) rule to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.
▪️Unless absolutely necessary please do not bring children or a person of an at-risk group to the shop.
▪️You may nominate a relative or neighbour to collect your medication.
▪️As much as possible we ask you to use contactless payments.
