Samhain Kirtan, Heartsongs & Healing circle - the thinning of the veils
While astrologically Samhain falls this year on November 7th, this entire week the veil between the realms is thin and it is an opportune time of passage from one world to another. It is believed, at this time of year, the gateways between the realms gently open, a unique opportunity for thanksgiving, celebration, & ritual with our ancestors, guides and loved ones who have transitioned.

This Friday, November 4th, let us tenderly embrace the magic and mystical dark nights of Samhain, and connect with those who have walked before us, as the Great Wheel turns again, weaving our hearts and prayers together with mantra, meditation, breath and heartsongs.
* Community Ancestral Altar:
During this auspicious time of reciprocity, we will be receiving blessings & making offerings through the potent ritual of mantra, heart songs and meditation. We will create a community ancestral altar for our loved ones who have passed on & our spirit guides. You are invited to bring a photograph/ photographs of loved ones, personal mementoes or keepsakes, items from nature ( shells, leaves, feathers, stones) to place on the communal altar.
Join us in the new cosy interiors of Body, Mind, Breath health studio in Dun Laoghaire, for a deeply uplifting journey of devotional chanting & singing, unfurling & re-connecting, reflecting & resting with silence & prayer in community. Never before have we needed to unite in community and resilience as much as we have today.
Each gathering will begin with a brief heart opening japa meditation, followed by the deeply powerful yet very simple technique of EFT, (Emotional Freedom Technique), recentering our physical & emotional essence back to balance and embodiment.
You are invited to gather weekly, every Friday evening, 7:45pm - 9pm, at the beautiful BODY, MIND, BREATH health studio, overlooking the ocean, to softly surrender and lovingly rekindle the light in our hearts, & journey within the healing alchemy of mantra, song, live music and meditation.
What is Kirtan?
Kirtan is a form of call & response group singing , chanting & mantra meditation which can help us dive deep into that place of magic inside of us, our true nature, the guru within. Felicity Ananda is honoured to create a sacred container for our community to join together in chant and meditation. She warmly invites you to our weekly evening of medicine and remembrance, resting into the calm singing prayer of our collective voices, connecting to Spirit & love with others in the form of Bhakti Yoga, Yoga of the heart.
In each session you can gently explore & participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. No Yoga, singing, or meditation experience is necessary. You are welcome to come just as you are, join in and sing your heart out, chant, clap, dance or sway, or to simply lie down, rest and bathe in the nourishing, healing vibrations of our collective voices, prayers and instruments.
As she sings Felicity Ananda will weave guitar & harmonium into our co-creations. Participants speak of feelings of wonder, joy, calm, positivity, connection and deep relaxation afterwards.
Why?
The intention of this Sangha (intentional community gathering), is to remind us to breathe into the simplicity yet magnificence of life, & to re-connect with the beautiful uncovering of the Self, to lift an embodied prayer to the heart of our world, resourcing ourselves, our loved ones & our planet. We have been celebrating, singing, meditating and dancing in ceremony and ritual since the beginning of time. It’s no wonder mantra feels so uplifting, sentimental, transformative and deeply joyful. An ancient remembrance … can you feel it?
🙏 If you are new to our gatherings, you will be welcomed warmly 🙏
