✨ Focus on Fibre! ✨
If you want to do something kind for your body Focus on Fibre! Fibre feeds the good bacteria in our gut microbiome which helps us to feel good and well and builds up our immune system so we can fight off infections! Fibre also helps to slow digestion, reduce our blood sugars, helps to lower cholesterol and helps to keep us regular.
Most people in Ireland don't eat enough fibre a day. We should be aiming for 30-35g of fibre per day for optimum gut health. And the great news, fibre is mostly found is nutrious whole foods so there's so many benefits to adding these high Fibre foods to your diet!
Start small and build up your fibre intake!
