Full super Harvest Moon in Aries. So called as it’s the nearest moon to Spring Equinox.

I spent a few hours out under it last night in ceremony. As the wheel of the year turns inwards, Autumn brings the exhale.
The sacred is not a place to go but a state of being. Nature has always being a balm to my soul. After a few very intense weeks at work, time alone under the full Moon is a powerful reset. Time for reflection. Time to do an ego audit.
Our soul is gathered into these funny human vunerable bodies to the challenges of life. Grief is ever present, a constant state of exhale and letting go but yet inside us is an indomitable spirit.

Time under the full moon gives space to me to connect to my own souls dream in this life. To what’s truly important. Our human connections & community are vital to our overall wellbeing. What’s your souls call ? What’s truly important to you?

Of course ego audits require letting go.
Under the Full Moon one can howl as if one’s life depends on it.

Perhaps it does 😃 it was so magnificently elemental last night with the wind, moonlight and fire.🔥

Time alone to be and recharge .

Harvest Moon is a great time to take stock of all we are grateful for and all the blessings we have.

Each breathe is precious. Each moment in our lives. I wish peace to all areas of conflict all around the world. For each child to feel safe, loved and secure. Indeed I also wish it for you and all the beings of the land on this beautiful Earth.

. It was great to be performing with the Pagan Rave at the opening ceremony of on Thursday night in Cork.

Dr Billy Mag Fhlionn describes it as a performance -based project to reimagine folk traditions and calendar customs of Ireland.

Almost a decade ago Billy started making the costumes. Each year more are added. It’s evolving each year with a stellar line up of musicians, dancers, performers and creatives.
It’s always so exciting to make new masks as the wheel of the year & life turns we evolve within. I made a new mask this year and looking back now on the very first Pagan Rave in Di**le 9 years ago, I see just how my life, the world and the planet has changed.

Change is the only constant in life.

The wheel of the year keeps turning.

It’s a great honour and privilege to hear John Spillane’s new song live and join on stage Friday night at Electric Picnic.

I have admired and loved John’s work for decades, to have a song written about you is very special.
I love it and all the energy John has given it makes it quite a sacred blessing.

John is a true King of the Bards.

Documenting life, people, places, he is star, a bright shining star filled with heart ❤️.

Nollaig na mBan faoi mhaise dhaoibh!
Happy little Christmas or Woman”s Christmas to you all. The 12 th night is over, the 3 kings have brought gifts of Frankincense, Myrhh & Gold. It’s the Epiphany.

All decorations are taken down, the holly is saved. Traditionally a night where women went out and met up and enjoyed themselves . So up and down the country all over Ireland the sister hood are gathering and celebrating today.

As children it was also called little Christams and we had another celebration dinner. Often one had Turkey for one dinner and Goose for the other or vice a verse.
My Mother cooked it and continued running the house. My father worked the farm, milking etc. Her work was acknowledged on this day but didn’t stop. Dad used to say thank you for all her work after dinner.

It’s a romantic idea that in old Ireland it did stop but it’s a recent development that Women down tools.

I am my mother’s daughter and Róisín-Mya is mine.
The circle of life keeps turning and can’t be stopped.

Spring is not far away. Much love to all the women out there today 😊

The sisterhood is precious as is our beautiful Mother Earth.

Hansel Monday is also today the first Monday after New Year’s Day. It’s said to receive money today you will have abundance for the year.

As women we have come along way towards equality, but we have a long way to go. As I wrote this we have millions of Women, young girls displaced, trafficked, in famine, abusive situations, financial property, women living in a toxic masculine World.

Life is changing, when women gather magic happens. So to all who have the freedom to celebrate today do so with joy.
Róisín-Mya and I had a full turkey dinner tonight for Women’s Christmas. I am deeply grateful for all my blessings.

I am deeply grateful for my daughter and I am hopeful for the generations to come. We are passed the depths of Winter, Spring is but weeks away.

Soon the daffodils shall be greeting us and the natural World shall unfurl .

You may have heard of “ Once in a blue Moon”. Blue Moon is when 2 full Moons occur in the same month. Today we have. A Black Moon which is 2 New Moons in the same month. So under tonight’s Dark Black Moon it’s time to go within.
It’s a wonderful time to look back on 2024.
What were your intentions last year, what was your growth and learnings?

New Moon is a wonderful way to move forward, harness this energy to sow new seeds. Watch them grow and manifest.

Call in the new it’s a wonderful time to do so.

ST Lucia /LUCY feast day December 13th
Remembering the ancient Lucia holding the light

❤️ St Lucia was a 3rd century martyr who used a candle lit wreath to light her way to leave her hands free to bring food to the Christians in the catacombs. Today is her feast day.

❤️ These traditions are pre Christian in Scandinavian countries who were in darkness in Winter. A festival of light, hope & rebirth was vital. Women wore these candle crowns.

❤️It is said that to vividly celebrate Saint Lucy’s Day will help one live the long winter days with enough light.

❤️ So here i am with my crown of evergreen thuja / Cedar which represents everlasting life and a wonderful smudge
for protection and my beeswax candles Crown of light.

❤️ Shining a light at the darkest time of year .

❤️ Nurture your own inner light. Hold your boundaries and be grounded in this ever changing world. Quite often self care has a lot more to do with saying no as oppose to yes.

❤️ Walk Like St Lucia, like you have a crown of light to illuminate your inner path and be a beacon of light for others..

Friday is governed by Venus , the Roman goddess of love & beauty. ❤️Being a sacred feminine goddess number, 13 has sadly also been linked for centuries by patriarchal religious superstition as its power was feared.
This is changing now and we are part of this change and balance.
13 is synonymous with unity and transition between the physical & Spiritual world and change.
Change is powerful and we are changing every day .
