ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FOR CIAN MULLIGAN

As we continue to mourn the loss of our beloved Cian, we, as a family, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported us during such a devastating time.

We sincerely thank all those who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy, prayers, and donations for The Little Blue Heroes. Your kindness, support, and presence brought great comfort to us at such a difficult time.

A special word of thanks to our family, friends, and the wider community who stood by us throughout the wake and funeral. Also to the many businesses, friends and neighbours who brought food to the house during the wake, and to The Waterfront hotel for the refreshments after the funeral. The love and support shown to us will never be forgotten.

To the Little Blue Heroes, emergency services, Scoil Croine, Dungloe GAA and the Mullaghduff Band for the Guard of Honours at Cian’s funeral, and to Lorraine Shovelin for the beautiful flowers - you all helped to give our precious little boy a truly fitting farewell.

We extend our deepest appreciation to Dr Edward Harkin, Helen McDaid, Margaret Keeney, as well as all the nurses and healthcare staff who cared for Cian with such kindness, making it possible for him to spend his final days at home, surrounded by his loving family. Your care and support meant so much to us.

Sincere thanks to Fr Johnny for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass, and to Father Nigel for the comforting words and prayers at Cian’s burial. Thank you also to Mikeala Bonner-Martin for the lovely music which made the service so special and meaningful.

We also wish to thank Shaun McGlynn, his team, and the gravediggers for the professionalism, dignity, and compassion shown to our family throughout all the arrangements. Your support meant the world to us.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

Cian’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 24th May at 11am in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Chapel, Annagry.
