There comes a moment in healing where you realise you’ve been waiting to feel completely ready before allowing yourself to begin.

Ready to rest.
Ready to change.
Ready to say no.
Ready to choose yourself.
Ready to heal.

But healing rarely arrives wrapped in certainty. 🌿

A lot of us are carrying years of survival mode in their nervous system. Holding everything together. Pushing through exhaustion. Smiling while silently overwhelmed. Becoming so used to stress that peace almost feels unfamiliar.

And somewhere along the way, we start believing we need to have every answer before we take the next step forward.

But you don’t.

You don’t need the perfect plan.
You don’t need to see the whole path.
You don’t need to become a completely different person overnight.

Sometimes moving forward looks like:
✨ finally listening to your body
✨ asking for support
✨ choosing rest without guilt
✨ nourishing yourself properly
✨ allowing yourself to slow down

And part of healing is also recognising where we’ve been waiting for other people to give us what we’ve been avoiding giving ourselves.

Permission to slow down.

Healing teaches us to stop living from expectation and start living from alignment. To soften the constant cycle of overgiving while secretly hoping someone will finally pour back into us.

True healing is learning how to receive without guilt… and how to become responsible for the energy, love and care we so freely give to everyone else. 🤍

Healing is not about having it all figured out.
It’s about softly returning home to yourself, one small step at a time. 🌿

I’m delighted to share that the Bio-Kinesiology Association of Ireland have now opened the afternoon immersion to the general public. 🤍

This event now has 2 parts:

Morning Teaching Session
For kinesiologists only
Open to members and non-members

Afternoon Immersion
Open to the general public and practitioners

In the morning, we’ll explore how to use functional breathing in clinical practice and how it can support:
🫁 respiratory health
😴 better sleep
⚡ energy
🧠 anxiety and overwhelm
🌿 asthma support
⚖️ nervous system balance

We’ll also move into the energetics of breath, looking at how breath, energy, somatics and the felt sense can help shift stagnant emotional patterns held in the body, meridians and organs, through a trauma-informed approach. 🔬🌊✨

In the afternoon, we open the space to the public for a 2-hour Conscious Connected Breathwork & Spinal Energetics Immersion.

This is the experience part of the day. A space to receive, release, regulate and reconnect. 🌬️⚡🫀🕊️

Perimenopause can feel like you are losing yourself.

The mood swings.
The poor sleep.
The anxiety.
The irritability.
The exhaustion.
The sense that your body suddenly feels unfamiliar.

It can be a deeply unsettling season.

But often, perimenopause is not just about hormones.
It can also uncover deeper depletion, nervous system overload, stress, gut issues, liver burden, and the emotional weight your body has been carrying for years.

Muscle testing helps us listen to what the body is holding.

It can help uncover physical, emotional, and energetic imbalances that may be sitting underneath the symptoms.

✨️Physically, it can point us toward things like gut stress, liver overload, hormonal imbalance, nervous system dysregulation, food sensitivities, and nutritional needs.

✨️Emotionally, it can help uncover stored stress, unresolved experiences, inner conflict, and patterns the body is still carrying.

✨️Energetically, it can highlight depletion, imbalance, and where the system may need support to come back into balance.

The body is not broken.
It is communicating.
Muscle testing gives us a way to listen more deeply.

There is more going on here than just holding the breath.

When we gently pause after the exhale, carbon dioxide rises slightly. That helps the body become less reactive to discomfort and less likely to panic at the first signal of air hunger.

It also helps oxygen release from the blood into the tissues more easily. That is called the Bohr effect.

So this practice is not about forcing more oxygen in.
It is about helping the body use oxygen more effectively.

That can support calmer breathing, a steadier nervous system, better stress tolerance, support for sleep, and for some people, relief from over-breathing patterns that can sit underneath anxiety and breathing issues.

Soft breath.
Soft body.
More safety.
