There comes a moment in healing where you realise you’ve been waiting to feel completely ready before allowing yourself to begin.
Ready to rest.
Ready to change.
Ready to say no.
Ready to choose yourself.
Ready to heal.
But healing rarely arrives wrapped in certainty. 🌿
A lot of us are carrying years of survival mode in their nervous system. Holding everything together. Pushing through exhaustion. Smiling while silently overwhelmed. Becoming so used to stress that peace almost feels unfamiliar.
And somewhere along the way, we start believing we need to have every answer before we take the next step forward.
But you don’t.
You don’t need the perfect plan.
You don’t need to see the whole path.
You don’t need to become a completely different person overnight.
Sometimes moving forward looks like:
✨ finally listening to your body
✨ asking for support
✨ choosing rest without guilt
✨ nourishing yourself properly
✨ allowing yourself to slow down
And part of healing is also recognising where we’ve been waiting for other people to give us what we’ve been avoiding giving ourselves.
Love.
Rest.
Validation.
Care.
Permission to slow down.
Healing teaches us to stop living from expectation and start living from alignment. To soften the constant cycle of overgiving while secretly hoping someone will finally pour back into us.
True healing is learning how to receive without guilt… and how to become responsible for the energy, love and care we so freely give to everyone else. 🤍
Healing is not about having it all figured out.
It’s about softly returning home to yourself, one small step at a time. 🌿
