The family of the late Sarah McCrory gratefully acknowledge and express our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported us during our recent bereavement.

We are sincerely thankful to everyone who attended her wake and funeral, and to those who reached out with calls, Mass cards, and sympathy cards. A special word of thanks to our wonderful neighbours, friends, extended family, work colleagues, and local businesses who brought food and supported us in countless ways.

Thank you to Drs. Aherne and Kelly, Lifford Health Centre, and the staff of Medical 3, University Hospital Letterkenny.

We are extremely grateful to Fr. McCaughey and Fr. Boland for delivering such a deeply meaningful Funeral Mass. Thank you also to Fr. Kelly, Fr. McCrossan, Fr. Colhoun, and Fr. Lynch for their prayers and attendance at the wake.

Thank you to Thomas Gillespie and Brian Lindsay for their beautiful music throughout the ceremony.

Our sincere thanks to Michael and Caroline Kelly of Kelly’s Funeral Directors, Raphoe, for their kindness and professionalism during this difficult time.

The Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Saturday evening, 3rd January 2026, in St. Patrick’s Church, Murlog, Lifford, at 6:30 p.m.

TINA DUFFY, Cottage Farm, Newtowncunningham, Co Donegal.

We, the family of the late Tina Duffy, would like to extend our deepest thanks to all who offered sympathy and support during our recent and heartbreaking loss. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the extended McGee and Duffy families, friends, colleagues and neighbours who supported us in so many ways.

We sincerely thank everyone who attended her wake and funeral and to all those who reached out with kind messages, calls, cards, mass cards and sympathy cards. Thank you also to the many who gave donations to the Donegal Hospice. Your kindness and thoughtfulness truly overwhelmed us and brought us great comfort as we mourned the loss of our dear wife, mammy and granny.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who provided us with food and drinks (including many businesses) and to those who helped serve the teas, coffees and food. Tina would have been so proud of the great operation and hospitality that was happening in her kitchen. A huge thank you also to all those who helped with traffic, parking and road arrangements. We cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us.

We are extremely grateful to Fr. Philip Kemmy for his support throughout Tina’s illness and for delivering such a deeply meaningful funeral mass which captured Tina’s life and faith perfectly. Thank you to Fr. Philip and Fr. Damien for leading the Rosary at her wake. Thank you also to Fr. Ciaran Harkin and Rev. Sean McClafferty for their blessings, prayers and kind visits to Tina throughout her illness.

Thank you to Amy Meehan for her beautiful singing throughout the ceremony.

We also thank the grave diggers for their service.

Our deepest thanks to Michael and Caroline Kelly of Kelly’s Funeral Directors, Raphoe, for the exceptional care and service you provided in arranging Tina’s wake and funeral. Your compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail brought us great comfort at a very difficult time.

Lastly, to all those who cared for Tina, a special thank you to each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts - to all staff of Newtown Health Centre, Healthwise Pharmacy Newtown, Letterkenny University Hospital and the Donegal Hospice - we are forever grateful to you all.

Tina’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Sunday, 4 January 2026, in All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham, at 11:00 a.m.

The sudden death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Jimmy McGuire, 23 Meadow hill, Raphoe, Co. Donegal,

Lovingly missed by, his wife Barbara, sons and daughters, Thomas (Anna), Gemma (Stephen), Joanne (Declan), Lisa, Shaun, and Leona (Jonny), his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchild, sister Mary McGuire and all his extended family, and friends.

Jimmy was predeceased by his parents Tom and Hanna and his daughter-in-law Karen. May they all rest in peace.

A silent thought, a quiet prayer, For a special person in God’s care.

Jimmy will repose at his daughter, Lisa McGuire’s residence, 28 Cathedral Hill, Raphoe. F93 W7K6 from
• Saturday 27th December, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
• Sunday 28th December, from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Everyone is welcome to the wake at daughter Lisa McGuires residence, with the family home, 23 Meadow hill, Raphoe to be private to family only please.

The funeral cortege will leave his daughters residence on Monday morning, 29th December, at 10:30 am, proceeding via the Diamond to St. Eunan’s Church, Raphoe, for 11:00am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The family of the late Louise O’Loughlin would like to express our deepest gratitude to all who offered sympathy and support during our recent and heartbreaking loss of our beloved Mother, Daughter, and Sister.

We are sincerely thankful to everyone who attended her wake and funeral, and to those who reached out with calls, mass cards, and sympathy cards. Your kindness and generosity truly overwhelmed us. A special word of thanks to our wonderful neighbours, friends, extended family, and local businesses who brought food and supported us in countless ways. We are especially grateful to Fr. Eamonn Kelly for his guidance and comfort throughout the wake and funeral.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to Kelly’s Funeral Services for their professionalism, compassion, and dignity in arranging the funeral, and to the gravediggers for their assistance. We deeply appreciate the beautiful music and singing provided by Sinead Black, which made the service so meaningful.

PAUL MC SORLEY, 61 Lawnsdale, Ballybofey.

The Month’s Mind Mass for the late Paul McSorley will be held in St Mary’s Church, Sessiaghoneill, on 29th December at 6pm.

We, the family of the late Paul McSorley, would like to extend our deepest thanks to the extended McSorley and McIntyre families, friends, and neighbours who supported us in their own way during this difficult time. Your generosity and kindness were truly appreciated and brought us great comfort as we mourn the loss of a beloved husband and father.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped provide food and drinks, and to those who prepared meals and served tea and coffee. We sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the support you have given us during this difficult time.

We are extremely grateful to Fr Arkinson for his support throughout Paul’s illness and for the meaningful funeral Mass he delivered.

Thank you also to Bridgeen/Emily Cannon and Aoife Flanagan for the beautiful singing throughout the ceremony.

We would also like to thank Sessiaghoneill National School for the use of their premises and facilities after the ceremony.

The Month’s Mind Mass for the late Bridget Olive Coll will be held in St Baithin’s Church, St Johnston, on Sunday 28th December at 12.15pm.

We, the family of the late Olive Coll, would like to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who supported us in their own way during this difficult time. Your kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness were truly appreciated and brought us great comfort as we mourn the loss of our wee warrior.

We are deeply grateful to all who attended the wake and funeral, to those who sent messages of condolence, and to those who travelled near and far. The outpouring of support—through cards, flowers, and social media posts—meant so much to us throughout Mam’s wake and funeral.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped provide food and drinks (including local businesses), and to those who prepared meals and served tea and coffee. We cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Tina will be lovingly missed by her husband William, daughters Emma (Shaun) and Tara (Lee), grandchildren Gracie and Olivia, sisters Dolores McNulty, Carmel McDaid, Veronica Burns, Teresa Carlin, brothers Tommy McGee and Liam McGee, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and all her extended family and friends.
