Sending my very best wishes to Tony McNamee on his retirement from Donegal Down Syndrome.
Tony has been such a huge part of the community over the years, and it’s safe to say he’ll be greatly missed by everyone – young and old alike. Known for his friendly nature, great sense of humour, and truly kind heart, Tony always brings warmth and positivity wherever he goes.
He is especially loved by the children, known famously as ‘Coach Tony’ or my personal favourite - ‘Football Tony.’ There was always a real buzz when he was around - if the kids heard him singing downstairs during appointments, their faces would light up knowing Tony was in the building!
On a personal note, Tony was always the man to turn to for any DIY jobs when I would be working in Letterkenny – no job too big or small, and always happy to lend a hand without hesitation. Thanks for being such a good friend over the years.
Tony, thank you for everything you’ve done for so many people. Your impact won’t be forgotten, and I hope this next chapter brings you plenty of relaxation, happiness, and well-earned rest.
Wishing you all the very best in your retirement!
Also, happy birthday for tomorrow Tony 🥳
