Emily Gallagher, a professional makeup artist originally from Donegal, is back home after spending the last three years working in Belfast for Charlotte Tilbury.

She is now delighted to announce she will be hosting a special makeup masterclass at Eskepharmacy Donegal, Donegal Town, on Thursday, 16th October at 7pm, as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The masterclass is being held in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation, with all proceeds supporting their vital work in cancer research.

Emily has trained and worked with Charlotte Tilbury for several years, mastering the art of glowing skin, flawless finishes and red-carpet looks. 🧠💜 World Alzheimer’s Day – 21st September 💜🧠

Today marks World Alzheimer’s Day, a time to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and show support for the millions of people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

Alzheimer’s is the most common cause of dementia — a progressive neurological condition that affects memory, thinking, behaviour, and the ability to carry out daily activities.

Globally, over 55 million people are living with dementia, and that number is expected to rise.
This year’s theme focuses on the importance of early diagnosis. Recognising the signs early can lead to better access to support, treatment options, and time to plan for the future.

🔍 Common early signs may include:
• Memory loss that disrupts daily life
• Difficulty following conversations or finding words
• Misplacing items and losing the ability to retrace steps
• Changes in mood, confusion, or withdrawal from social activities

On this day, and every day, we honour the strength of those living with dementia and their caregivers. Let’s break the silence, learn the signs, and support one another with empathy and understanding.
