I’m thrilled to share that I’ll now be offering Hypnobirthing Courses in County Kerry! I’ve had lots of you travelling over to my courses in Cork and now is the time to bring the course to you 🙌🏻

Whether you are planning a hospital birth or home birth, a medicated birth, unmedicated birth or caesarean - my course will help you to feel calm, confident and prepared 🥰

Over the past year alone, I’ve had the absolute privilege of welcoming dozens of couples into my hypnobirthing courses here in Cork 🥰

I have been teaching Hypnobirthing since 2020 and have used it myself since 2016, three times, in the births of all of my children 🧒

If you are interested in finding out more enquire with the CUMH DOMINO Service (Domiciliary Care In and Out of Hospital) which offers continuity of care from a dedicated team of midwives, facilitates a hospital-based birth, and enables early discharge with follow-up care and feeding support at home. Another option is the HSE Home Birth Service—a fully funded, safe, and high-quality care package for healthy, low-risk pregnancies. Women receive one-hour antenatal appointments with their midwife and are supported in giving birth at home. Postnatal visits continue for two weeks after birth to provide guidance on feeding and newborn care. Jo Delaney & Orlaith Spitere are the Designated Midwifery Officers for home births in Cork and will process your application for your home birth. I hear this a lot, “My Partner won’t be interested in that” yet I’m always really confident that when they do come to a course they WILL be interested 🥳
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’d probably say around 90% of birth partner’s come along to a Hypnobirthing course with some reservation. The name ‘hypnobirthing’ doesn’t really do us any favours! They are assuming it’s a bit mind control, a bit Woo, a bit preachy perhaps? 🤭
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Who’s this weird woman and what’s she going to do to us?! 🫣
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But actually, the course is HUGELY about them too. They don’t want to be a spare part or wallpaper on the day. They’d love to know how to support you and make this a team experience 🫶
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I trust that they will be reassured that Hypnobirthing is logical. There’s science behind it and lots of links with big mindset practices like sports psychology 🏉
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Plus, I’m not that much of a weirdo 😉
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So even if they are a bit of a sceptic, still book your course. They’ll be fine, I promise.
