📢 Community Update – Doneraile Branch and the closure of Doneraile Post Office.
Following conversations with many locals yesterday, we just wanted to clarify a few key points, primarily aimed at potential new members of Doneraile as a result of their Post Office closure:
âś… Post Office Arrangements
We do not have a formal arrangement with the Post Office. However, we understand that some forms have been issued requesting IBAN details for payments. This is a personal choice, and we’re more than happy to chat through the available options with anyone who has questions.
✅ Busy Footfall – Appointments May Be Needed
It was fantastic to see such strong community interest! Due to the high footfall, there may be a need to make an appointment to open an account. That said, we’re “playing it by ear” and will do our best to accommodate everyone on the day as walk ins.
✅ What You’ll Need to Open or Reactivate an Account
Please bring the following documents:
A valid passport or driver’s licence
A utility bill dated within the last 6 months
An official document confirming your PPS number
âś… Joint Accounts
If you’re opening a joint account, both parties must be present at the time of account opening.
âś… Debit Card Access
Our current account includes a debit card that can be used in retail locations. If this is new to you, we’re here to help guide you through it.
