This past week l, for every check in we’re acknowledging wins and “smashing it”
There’s 2/3 that are struggling,
Loss of jobs,
Loss of loved ones
Work pressure
Kids & stress
Financial pressure
Break ups
New careers
Uncertainty
Virus/ilness
Unexpected or planned surgeries
Or, just slightly dropping the ball a bit and needing to pull their finger out
Some planned,
Some not.
Some within their control,
Most…. Are not.
Im telling you this for 2 reasons.
1- If you sign up to coaching to get your “transformation’, and expect a nice rosy journey with no hiccups and constant progress, not to sound negative, just pragmatic, but Im afraid to tell you that your expectations may be unrealistic, and if a coach guarantees results, happiness or anything else for that matter, they are talking out their ass. Because life happens some weeks, we can’t predict that s**t.
2- If you have a s**t week, fearing no progress, maybe you couldn’t give 1 s**t about your macros because your head is not in it, the weeks where adversity is highest is where PROPER coaching comes in (within an online coach realm of practice).Although it may be the last thing on your mind,’”s**t hit the fan weeks” do & will happen, and everything about coaching crack is meant to help take away and manage any external stress, not add to it. So prioritize what’s really important, control what you can where you can, dont chase everything being perfect and know there are plenty more weeks for progress to be made if more important things in life kick up.
Sometimes trying to overly be “relatable”, Lacks authenticity.
But this is, how it is.
You might stumble, or trip along the way, but a good outcome might be,
banging your head against reality.
It’s all part of any bit of habit change, welcome and learn from it and you’ll benefit more than a smooth sailing perfect approach.
