We provide an award winning and professional Funeral service on a full-time basis in a uniquely caring and family environment. Established in 1988 by Paddy and his wife Patricia Townley. Our family centred approach has children Paula and Aidan fully involved in the day to day contact with families, with Maurice & Barbara also involved. Our dedicated staff ensure that your loved one’s final journey

is arranged with meticulous attention to detail, in a dignified, compassionate and empathetic way. Our ethos has always been ‘Our family taking care of yours’. Our Funeral Home at Crosslanes, was completely renovated and extended in 2017 to offer families a tranquil setting to allow friends and family pay their final respects. With four separate viewing rooms, two arrangements rooms, a coffin show room, tearoom and shop providing signed Mass cards and flowers, we can comfortably cater for large numbers of mourners and there is ample secure, off-road parking. We continue to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to those that need us. All religious denomination funerals are catered for and we provide a complete repatriation service.

The death has occurred of Emma Rafferty, Carndonagh, Co. Donegal and formerly Forest Grange, Drogheda. 25th July 2025. Unexpectedly at her parent’s home in Donegal. Emma will be sadly missed by her beloved son Dane, and her heartbroken parents Miriam and Fintan, brother and sisters Andrea, Larry and Katie, brother-in-law Andrew ,Larry’s partner Gina, Katie’s partner Patrick, nephew Carl, nieces Allanah, Enya, Lilly, Ava and Heidi, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

May Emma’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda A92 XN75 on Thursday and Friday from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 11.30am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Drogheda and can be viewed live at www.saintpetersdrogheda.ie with burial afterwards in Newtown Cross Lawns Cemetery. The death has occurred of Vincent Murphy, Oaklawns, St. Alphonsus Road, Dundalk, Co. Louth and formerly of Adamstown, Dunleer. 29th July 2025, Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mona. Vincent will be sadly missed by his loving family Linda Stevenson-Smith, Tina Harris Doyle, Brenda Lynch, Seán and Eamonn, sons-in-law, family partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Mary Coogan née Fuller, Chord Road, Drogheda, Co. Louth. 29th July 2025. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Aras Mhuire Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Mary is predeceased by her husband Joe and brothers Peter and Jim. She will be sadly missed by her children James, Brendan, Gráinne, Paddy, Anne and Therese, daughters-in-law Angela and Jenny, sons-in-law Philip and Andy, grandchildren Marcus, Cathal, Matthew and Leya, brothers Paddy (Canada) and Tom (Dublin), sister Margaret, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Mary Rest In Peace.
