This afternoon we held our annual Remembrance Mass for our residents who passed away over the past year & for all our family members & friends.
A sincere thankyou to Fr Paddy Rush who celebrated our Mass & to all family ,residents & staff who attend this most special ceremony.
This year we presented each family with a candle & thought frame as a token of remembrance .

We were delighted to attend the in the mansion house last night as finalists out of 250 enteries and 34 finalists. We were so proud to celebrate such an incredible achievement across our team. 🎉🎉

Our Caru Corner is now set up in reception which shows all our resources including the bereavement pack, our recent Poster presentation at the palliative care conference and some IHF resources. November is also a very special month of remembrance. We pause and remember every resident, friend and family member who has died this year. We hold each memory with respect, gratitude and love. 🕊️. A huge congratulations to our staff nurse Seena Philip who has been awarded Membership of the Faculty of
Nursing and Midwifery (MFNMRCSI)by the examination board.
The Membership is a prestigious award offered exclusively in Ireland by the Faculty
of Nursing and Midwifery at the RCSI. It is an innovative and supportive mechanism by which nurses and midwives nationally and internationally are afforded the opportunity to actively engage with the Faculty, and its community of practice. Members shall not assume the title until they
have made the declaration and affirmation of a Member, in the presence of the President of the College and the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at the Conferring Ceremony, which will take place on December 8th. Sunhill will now have three members of the Faculty . Well done Seena from all at Sunhill and Evergreen Care.
