Michelle Dunne is a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with a specialisation in Play Therapy. Michelle has been supporting children, adolescents, and families in therapeutic settings since 2002 and is the owner and operator The Cabin Play Therapy since 2008. She holds an MA, with First Class Honours, in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy (Play Therapy) and is a member of IAPTP, IAHIP, and the Ir

ish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP). Her work is grounded in attachment theory, developmental understanding, and an integrative, child-centered approach. Michelle places strong emphasis on creating a calm, safe, and respectful therapeutic environment where children and young people can express themselves and be supported at their own pace. Michelle also values working within holistic, wellbeing-orientated settings and alongside other professionals to support emotional health and meaningful therapeutic change.

PLAY THERAPIST, PREPARING FOR LIFE PROGRAMME
(One Year Fixed Term / Part Time 0.4 FTE)
Northside Partnership / Preparing for Life is recruiting a part-time Play Therapist to join the Preparing for Life Team. This role is funded through the RTÉ Comic Relief fund and as such is being offered on a one-year fixed team basis with no option to extend. The Play Therapist will plan, implement, deliver, and evaluate weekly play therapy interventions on a 1:1 basis, with children ranging in age from 4 – 12 years. The Play Therapist will also work closely with the PFL Team to develop and implement innovative supports for children and families.
This is a part time (2 days per week) contract, subject to funding.

Preparing for Life is an evidenced based, prevention and early intervention project based in Darndale, North Dublin working with families from pregnancy through childhood to help children achieve their full potential. We work with families, health services, early years education settings and schools.
