Anthony Cardona - NMT, FIDN is a Neuromuscular therapist graduating from the National Training Centre, Dublin - Ireland's longest established training provider in the field of bodywork therapy whose qualifications are internationally renowned. Anthony is professionally competent to provide treatment protocols to alleviate and eradicate pain, rehabilitate injured and dysfunctional muscles and soft tissue. The T-Shirt That Means More: A Costa Rica Story 🫰

This isn't just a souvenir; it's the Erik Dalton T-Shirt of Triumph, and it truly means the world to me. I got it at the Costa Rica training not by answering a spontaneous, challenging question (which is how Erik Dalton used to give them away), but in recognition for traveling the furthest to be there!

Tbh, when the wonderful announced a giveaway, I said to myself, "No way I'll ever be able to be courageous enough to answer any question in front of a class of people I never met." That was my classic therapist self-doubt talking!

Yet, I got that shirt. Nate managed to give me that unexpected ounce of motivation to keep on going, especially when at times the road to mastery looks too hard. This T-shirt became a sign, a reminder that showing up is winning.

A Prayer in Pura Vida

Tonight, as I walk the quiet, sacred grounds of Pura Vida, the place where the incomparable Erik Dalton once ran his retreat, I am overwhelmed with gratitude.

It was Erik, whom I encountered online, who first inspired me to become the therapist I am today. Standing here, before our training begins, I am silently offering a prayer of thanks to this late, amazing, world-leading tutor and mentor.

He showed me that while an individual can always be clever in their field, true genius lies in being an inspiration. Thank you, Erik, for not just teaching, but for igniting a passion and setting a standard of excellence that continues to guide me, and for inspiring Nate and Scott to follow in your steps and keep your vital legacy on fire.
