Today is World Mental Health Day, a reminder to pause, check in with yourself, and give your mind the care it deserves.

Sometimes, stress and emotions can feel heavy, and it's okay to seek support. Whether through talking with a counsellor or gentle therapies like acupuncture, taking steps for your mental well-being matters 💝.

You don't have to do it alone - small actions can make a big difference. Call us when you want to take this small step.

✨ Menopause is not the end—it’s a transformation. ✨

Every woman’s journey is unique. For some, this stage unfolds gently. For others, it can bring storms of hot flashes, mood swings, or sleepless nights.

☯️ In Traditional Chinese Medicine, emotions are connected to our organs. In somatic psychotherapy, we know the body holds what the mind has not expressed. That’s why old feelings often resurface at menopause—our body is asking us to listen.

🌀 From a Jungian perspective, this stage awakens the Archetype of the Wise Woman. The shadows we once pushed aside now rise to be integrated.

👀 From an existential view, menopause invites us to pause and ask: How do I want to live this next chapter?

✨ Your symptoms are not enemies—they are messages. They call you to release, heal, and transform.

In my clinic, I integrate acupuncture, counseling, and somatic awareness to support women through this powerful transition—helping you feel balanced, grounded, and whole.

💬 When one partner pulls away…

In relationships, we often see two roles in conflict:

👉 One partner reaches out, wants to talk, fix things.
👉 The other pulls back, gets quiet, shuts down.

That second one is what we call the withdrawer in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
But here’s the truth:
Withdrawers often pull away not because they don’t care — but because they care a lot and feel unsure or afraid.

So how can we better connect with someone who tends to withdraw?

💛 Slow it down – fast talks can feel overwhelming. Take a breath.
💛 Be kind, not critical – judgment pushes them further away.
💛 Guess gently – try asking, “Are you feeling a little stuck or unsure right now?”
💛 Notice the little things – when they open up even a bit, say thank you. That’s a big step.

Withdrawers aren’t trying to disconnect.
They just need to feel safe before they can step forward.
🧡 Let’s create space for each other to feel seen and supported.

💬 Ever been the one who pulls away — or the one who reaches out?

Feel free to share your experience with me directly — let’s explore how I can support you. You’re not alone in this.

🌿 Happy Labor Day 🌿

Today, we honor not just the work we do—but ourselves as the ones who show up, strive, and care.

Let this be a gentle reminder:
✨ Your worth is not measured by your productivity.
✨ Rest is just as important as effort.
✨ True success includes balance, joy, and wellbeing.

On this Labor Day, may we celebrate our efforts, acknowledge our limits, and make space for harmony between work and life.

You deserve to breathe, rest, and simply be. 💛
