About us:
When John Kidd was returning to Ireland from Brazil in 2014, one of the passengers on board the plane suffered from a stroke. The medication issued caused the individual to have an allergic reaction, and it was through this experience that John developed the idea to develop a NFC (Near Field Communication) personal, medical pocket sized card that could be stored inside a wallet and used

during emergencies to save people's lives. He began to read government healthcare reports and established that approximately 1.3 billion euros are wasted on miss-diagnosis and that no integrated system for sharing medical information among the public and private medical institutions and professionals existed. With the Irish Government having been instructed by the EU to make a $800 million budget cut in healthcare, John saw an opportunity and quickly formed Medipro Life Limited. The information discussed in our report has been gathered over numerous meetings with CEO John Kidd and Medipro's CTO, which allowed us to gain an in depth understanding of who and what Medipro really are. In separate meetings, both the CEO and CTO offered a grade score of between 1-4, representing how they viewed the relative performance in the scorecards discussed below. The concept consists of a platform, a card, NFC readers and a phone app. Once launched, it will identify each person that has used a 6 health or social care service in Ireland. It will initially record patients name, DOB, address, gender, blood type and nationality and can be used in both public and private healthcare. Software experts Sonitek Int are the established software producers of the platform and phone app. Individual Human Identifier (IHI) is identifying technology and will allow for a more efficient health service. It will enable the safe sharing of patient information which will be shared seamlessly across different health care organizations. It will facilitate integrated care and a reduction in medical errors and help protect patient privacy. It allows an instant access to vital medical information to the emergency service personnel and ensures that the best and fastest medical treatment is provided. It can help save many lives each year, reduce time spent in hospitals, free up hospital beds and reduce government costs.
