Week 2 of Parent & Baby Yoga at

It’s really exciting to have a new class on the schedule especially as I get to meet all the gorgeous little ones ❤️👶🏼

At we love babies so all our Pre & Postnatal classes are child friendly!

My yoga classes are all about moving on the mat with baby. Lots of core work, shoulder releases, hamstring stretches, glute strengthening poses and all the rest!

This class is all about going with the flow so it’s very relaxed but I’ll always try and make it as enjoyable as possible for both you and baby ☺️

Classes are on Wednesdays & Fridays @ 10.45am in FFS Gyms Dundrum.

Did you know that strength, balance & stability are a big part of yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️ 🧘🏻‍♂️

Not only are we moving our body in all planes of motion on our mat but we’re also building strength, albeit in a different way to S&C.

Now I’m not expecting anyone to balance in a headstand but this pose is highlighting shoulder strength and stability💪🏻 just one of the many benefits for incorporating yoga into your weekly routine.

The yoga I teach is functional movement incorporating mobility exercises and yoga poses which flows together into a dynamic sequence🔥

It was such a buzz to see so many people in my Sunday yoga classes Dundrum last week🔥

Well done to everyone, not only in Dundrum but all locations who have come to one of my classes, whether it’s yoga or mobility! You’ve done the hard part which is showing up ☺️

Now it’s about consistency and making the time to move your body, stretch it out, work on that balance and increase your range of motion.

The most important thing is you are aware of your body, how it moves and investing the time to better it, so many don’t…

It’s been a while since I’ve posted on Instagram, it’s been a mad few months (in a good way ❤️).

Behind the scenes along with my day to day classes at , I’ve been doing a Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training course with and the fabulous .

We had our exam two weeks ago and even though I was prepared and studied like a lunatic, I still wasn’t sure how it went so when I saw the results email come in, I had no idea what the outcome would be…

Anyway I am very excited and SO happy to say that I am officially a qualified Prenatal Yoga Teacher🧘🏼‍♀️👶🏼💕

Anyone feel like moving with me tomorrow?

We’ve all felt that stiffness in the joints, the cracking of your knee or ankle or back…I know I’m biased but working on your mobility and generally becoming better at movement through improved range will change the way you train whether it’s in the gym or you play for a sports team etc.

Movement @ FFS is a class that’s purely focused on functional mobility to create space between the joints to increase help with better overall moving of the body. You won’t break a sweat but it’s a very different type of intensity that whose who’ve tried my class will tell you!

Always delighted to see new faces so if you have the 45mins spare tomorrow, join me in 34 Leeson st for some ankle and lumbar spine work.

What a welcome from 💪🏻🙌🏻

Over in London 🇬🇧 for a few days to try out as many gyms and go to as many yoga classes as I can to get some inspiration and also bring back some cool new ideas for my yoga and mobility classes in .

MOVEMENT

I’m coaching a new class on Fridays @ 1.30pm in FFS Gyms which I’m very excited about!

Have you ever felt stuck whilst moving through a side plank with rotation or maybe your heels start to lift whilst squatting, these are examples of restricted range of motion in the thoracic spine and hip/ankle joints. In Movement at FSS classes, we will focus on the basics of FRC (functional range conditioning) to help improve functional mobility (flexibility + strength/control) to help you move better and get that PB on your lifts!

I’ve had so many people telling me they have tight hips, ankles, shoulders, lower back; if you feel like you could move better then you NEED this class! If you think you move well, you still need this class😝

Week by week we will build on the basics, nailing these movements before incorporating holds, lift offs, hovers and all that fun stuff into the class👌🏻

Yoga for Muscle Recovery at The Home Of Hard Work] 🧘🏻‍♂️🧘🏼‍♀️

You maybe have noticed that things are ramping up in the gym, we are lifting heavier, working harder and getting fitter with every week that goes by. Therefore our body is working in overdrive and let’s face it, we all feel those DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) at some stage or another.

So for an active recovery day, why not try out some yoga, there’s no weights involved, we just use our body and breath to move and twist, helping with joint mobility, muscle flexibility and better range of motion. Plus the best part, a lovely long relaxation at the end!🥰

Client focus 🧘🏻‍♂️

I’ve been working with Colm over the last number of week as part of his rehab for a lower back issue, focusing yoga flows to strengthen the glutes as well as improving flexibility and control in the body.

I love to sneak in some exercises into my yoga classes, you won’t even know you’re doing it but amazing for increasing range of motion.💪🏻

I love teaching 1:1 clients, it’s so nice to see people improving as the weeks go on and feeling great 😊

Up-skilling is important in any industry but particularly the fitness industry and I’m always trying to learn as much as I can from experience and from others.

This weekend, I took part in the European seminar which was fascinating as well as eye opening in the ways of movement, mobility and strength training.

Delighted to say that I’m now a certified FRC Mobility Specialist (FRCms) and so excited to incorporate all my learnings into my classes🙌🏻

𝙔𝙤𝙜𝙖 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 🧘🏻‍♂️🏋🏼‍♀️

Focus: Hip mobility, quad flexibility & glute strength

Can you believe it’s nearly the weekend again?! Honestly the weeks are going so fast I can’t keep up😊

I’m back this weekend in 34 Leeson and Ivy for two delicious yoga classes that will make you feel tip top both mentally and physically.

We’ll be continuing to improve hip mobility alongside lengthening and stretching the quadriceps (if you’ve been in lower this week with those barbell split squats this is for you!). Glute strength will also feature but don’t be alarmed, it’ll be very manageable 😊 if our Glutes are weak, we tend to compensate with other parts of the body which in turn can cause injury and a whole host of other issues and that’s the last thing we want!

So join me tomorrow or Sunday morning at 10.15am, whether you’re an member or not, it’s open to everyone so I’d love to see you.
