The HPRA has published the following update:
Title of news item: TPO added to European Union list of prohibited ingredients

TPO has been added to the EU list of ingredients prohibited in cosmetics. From 1 September 2025, it can no longer be sold or made available on the market in the EU. TPO is used in some UV gel and hybrid nail polishes.
