What a fantastic day we had here in Maryfield nursing home❤️

A big thank you to Susan Roe 👏👏the daughter of one of our residents, who kindly organised and delivered a wonderful First Aid session for everyone. The residents got fully involved—learning important skills, taking part in First Aid Bingo, and even practicing bandaging on each other!

There was so much laughter throughout the day, and it was amazing to see everyone having fun while also picking up such valuable knowledge.

We truly appreciate the time, effort, and care Susan put into making this day so special. 👏

A great reminder that learning never stops—and it can be full of joy too! ❤️

What a truly special final day with the wonderful 4th-year students from St. Seton's School, Ballyfermot! We were so touched by their kindness and enthusiasm during our art project together.
It was a delight to visit their school for a coffee morning, where we discussed our collaborative art pieces and discussed our upcoming exhibition at Ballyfermot Library next Friday. The students' pride as they welcomed us and showed us around their school was heartwarming. It was a morning filled with connection and shared joy!
A special thank you to Ms. Flood for her incredible dedication and for making this wonderful art project possible!

Your talent is truly appreciated, Sandra! Our residents enjoyed their session and were so excited to decorate their rooms, chapel, and share them as gifts. 💐🐣 "

As we approach the final week of our art project with the wonderful students and art teacher from St. Seton’s, we want to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU! 🎨✨
It has been an absolute joy watching these young artists bring their creativity and energy into our space. Your talents have truly brightened our days and left a lasting impression on all of us. We aren't ready to say goodbye just yet, but we are so grateful for every masterpiece and memory created so far! we can't wait for our big art exhibition to come in Ballyfermot library🖌️❤️

Here in Maryfield nursing home we continue our St Patrick’s week celebrations, Monday we had a wonderful afternoon of traditional Irish music with Angie and friend our residents had a great time singing and dancing 👏👏🍀finishing up on St Patrick’s day we had a lovely afternoon tea, green milkshake’s from our amazing chef, Ceol agus craic with Benny 🎶🍀☘️ a wonderful week was had by all 🍀🍀☘️

Happy St. Patrick's Day! ☘️

We had the most wonderful visit from the St Patrick's NS Chapelizod ! The children, all dressed in green, sang, chatted, and danced for us. They are amazing, so caring and kind. They help connect us to our community and bring us so much joy every visit.
Míle buíochas, to their parents, teachers, and their school. You should all be so proud! 💚🙏🇮🇪🍀
