The lovely residents — Ida, Edith, Ailish, Rose, Ann, Eithne, Elizabeth, Ann Tonge, and Phyllis of Terenure Nursing Home enjoyed a fabulous afternoon tea recently

Everyone was pleasantly surprised and truly enjoyed the delicious handmade treats prepared by their talented chef, Susan

✝️ Mass at Nephin Nursing Home - one of our 10 Grace Healthcare Ireland HOmes✝️

In Grace Healthcare Ireland we understand how important it is to look after not only the physical and emotional well-being of our residents, but also their spiritual needs. For many, being able to attend Mass in the comfort of their home brings great peace, joy and a deep sense of connection 🙏.

Nephin Nursing Home residents had the blessing of attending Mass celebrated by Fr. Liam from the Parish of Our Lady of Christian Catholic Church.
Thank you to Fr. Liam for sharing this special time of prayer and reflection with our residents. Your presence means so much to our community. 💛

Back in 2021, our wonderful residents at College View Nursing Home shared some advice for the younger generation — and it still rings true today

This lovely feature in IrishCentral.com highlights the wisdom of our residents, including Susan Jordan, who still lives in College View, up in Cavan. Susan is now 101 years old and in wonderful health. 🙏

Her advice? “See more of Ireland. Enjoy life while you can. Walk every day. Thank the Lord for good health.” 🌿

We are so proud of Susan and all our residents who continue to inspire us with their positivity and life experience. 🕊

Our Terenure Nursing Home and many more of our Grace Healthcare Ireland Homes are so fortunate to have a wonderful secondary schools nearby. This photo is of two Terenure College Transition Year students who share their time each year as part of our Activities Programme. 💛

Last week, two of these students, Tommy and Charlie, hosted a Mega Trivia Quiz for our Terenure Nursing Home residents. The boys took turns calling out the questions, dropping little hints along the way to jog the memory — and of course, there was no shortage of chuckles and banter throughout 🧠

Our Activities Coordinator, Grace, and all the residents truly appreciate their energy, kindness, and the fun they bring into our home. Thank you, Tommy and Charlie — you’re both stars 🌟👏

Lots of news from our St. Glady's Nursing Home - Harold's Cross, Dublin - one of our 10 Grace Healthcare Ireland. They celebrated baby showers for two of the staff nurses, Resmi and Aria, who are leaving to welcome their little ones. Wishing them all the happiness as they start this exciting new chapter 👶💛

The Residents residents also had a fantastic time with a variety of fun activities: quizzes, relaxing painting sessions, and friendly chats. Olive enjoyed getting her hair done, Margaret loved spending time with her doll, and Freda found joy in a peaceful painting session.
Another week of making new lovely memories for our Residents and Staff 💕

🌸 A Blooming Lovely Afternoon at our Oakwood Lodge Nursing Home, St. Margaret's Co. Dublin recently when Healthcare Assistant Karen and the residents enjoyed a creative afternoon of flower arranging 💐
Of course, no afternoon would be complete without a cup of tea, a few biscuits, and plenty of chat ☕🍪💬

The finished arrangements were absolutely fabulous. The colours brighten up the Home and the fragrance brings such a cheerful atmosphere 🌺🌼🌷

💡 Trivia Time at Terenure Nursing Home 💡 (one of our 10 Grace Healthcare Ireland Homes)
The wonderful volunteer, Sadbh, had great fun last week putting the residents to the test with some lively history trivia questions 📚

With Rose in the Hot Seat and Ida helping with some answers from the audience 🎤 and our Activities Coordinator, Grace, on camera and prompting 🥰, the room was full of laughter, learning, and lots of smiles 💕

We are so grateful for the positive, fun energy Sadbh brings every time she visits — the Residents (and staff!) look forward to her quizzes and chats 👏

🎶 Music, smiles & a whole lot of fun with Timmy Tunes in our Bishopscourt Residential Care Home in Cork where the Residents & Staff were delighted to welcome back Timmy. His energy, music, and singalong spirit always light up the room, and the residents absolutely love him. 💖

From toe-tapping tunes to big smiles all around, afternoons like this remind us just how powerful music is in bringing joy and connection. 🎤

🐾A very special visitor brightened up Castleross Nursing Home in Carrickmacross last week… Therapy dog Marley and his owner Marietta visited the Residents and Staff once again🐕 Marley is a lovely dog and spends lots of time with all the Residents spreading smiles, comfort, and plenty of cuddles along the way. 🐶

Castleross is one of our 10 Grace Healthcare Ireland Homes - and they are currently accepting new admissions

Celebrating team member, Karen's 65th birthday at Oakwood Lodge Nursing Home 🎂🎉

We would like to introduce you to Nurse Anna, who began her journey at our St. Glady's Nursing Home , one of our 10 Grace Healthcare Ireland Homes, as a Healthcare Assistant over two years ago. Anna worked for many years prior to moving to Ireland as a nurse in the Philippines.

With the support of Grace Healthcare Ireland Anna continued her studies here in Ireland and has now stepped into her new role as a nurse with us 👩‍⚕️💙 Anna is pictured here on the right with our . Glady's Nursing Home Nurse Vijaya.

We know she will be an exceptional addition to our Nursing team – Congratulations Anna 👏
