🌟Starting next week Firhouse Community & Leisure Centre (but you can join anytime if spaces are available)🌟

The style will be Slow Flow Hatha Yoga where we will focus on the relationship between the body and the breath, helping you to develop both flexibility and strength whilst introducing mindful concepts and relaxation.

Each class will have a stand alone focus but I will also structure them to tie into each other to benefit those who are looking for a course-like experience and want to commit to a regular practice.

The classes I teach are tailored to all levels of yoga practitioners, beginners are very much welcome! I always make sure to give a few options for poses so the individual can choose their level of practice.

An online community - An online practice but NO screens needed!

I wanted to create something simple, something that could be accessed in a blink of an eye, something that easily creates space for a must needed REST - And the idea of The Deep Rest was born ❤️🙏

Conducted through Whatsapp, join this community to receive a weekly voice recording with a Yin yoga and Yoga Nidra Practice. Rest your eyes and tune into your body by listening only, on your mat or in bed!

Sign up and you will be added to a Whatsapp group before we start on the 15th September. For the next 4 Mondays you will receive a 45 min voice recording. Each session will include a couple of Yin like slow melting stretches to set us up for a dreamlike Yoga Nidra guided meditation. The Whatsapp group will be for admin(me) to post only.

The perfect practice before bed and to sooth an overactive/overwhelmed mind. All you need is a pillow and a cosy surface!

🌟New Luncthtime course starting 17th September Firhouse Community & Leisure Centre🌟

Join me for this Fascia focused flow class where we will use mindful movement to ease off the morning slump with strengthening and stretching sequences, creating a more limber body and clearer mind for the rest of the day.

This will be perfect for those who need a space in their week to:
- ease out aches and stiffness from their body
- slow down and decrease stress
- target tissues and areas of the body not commonly trained at the gym
- enhance their yoga practice by diving deeper

Fascia is a one continuous sheath of tissue that surrounds everything in your body - bones, muscles, organs and cells. By targeting this tissue in our yoga practice we are activating and drawing attention to the wholeness of the body. With movement, stretching and acupressure we are reaching into the deeper levels of tension and unhelpful patterns to ease, open and rejuvenate.

Just a quick reminder about the Early Bird discount expiring this Friday - only a couple of spaces left! ☺️

Our practice these mornings will be focused on the myofascial tissue of the body. We will start our morning with stillness and meditation before moving into a smooth slow flow aimed at easing tension and restoring ease to your being using gentle strength, stretches and massage balls. After a little break and nutritional treats, the second half of the morning will be long held stretches in the style of Yin Yoga, to open up space in our bodies and minds before heading into the rest of the day.

Yoga classes at Firhouse Community & Leisure Centre will start from 9th September!

🌟Open Hatha Flow - Starting 9th September🌟

🌟The Deep Release - Starting 18th September🌟
Each class will feature a section where the application of balls and props will be used to apply acupressure in particular areas of the body (self-directed massage), followed by a yin yoga sequence, where the focus is on stretching, coupled up with meditation and breath work. Develop more stillness and mindfulness in your week, increase the quality of your sleep and create space to help the tissues of your body recover!

🌟Lunchtime Flow to Reset - Starting 17th September🌟
In addition to the two old favourites above, I will be rolling out a new lunchtime class Flow to Reset. Join me for this Fascia focused flow class where we will use mindful movement to shake off the morning slump with strengthening and stretching sequences, creating a more limber body and clearer mind for the rest of the day.

HELLO! It has been awhile!

Lately I have felt the yoga mat calling to me and the urge to hold space again for like minded people in search of moments on the mat. Even though I wont be back teaching regular classes until September, I couldnt wait so long to create an opportunity for this beautiful community to come together. I have therefore decided to offer two extended Mindful Mornings this summer in a Mini Retreat form where we will focus on bringing our energies inwards to Rest, Restore and Rejuvenate through a yoga practice that targets our myofascial tissue.

Fascia is a one continuous sheath of tissue that surrounds everything in your body - bones, muscles, organs and cells. By targeting this tissue in our yoga practice we are activating and drawing attention to the wholeness of the body. These retreats will be in the beautiful Mutton Lane Yoga studio which has both outdoors and indoors facilities, so we will be prepared for all weathers!

I always love sharing the benefits of yoga in the hope that it will inspire you and others to find a dedicated time in your week where you can tune away from the hustle and bustle of the world and mind, and tune into your body and being - wether that it by stepping on the mat or doing whatever brings your mindfulness side into the light.

As a part of wrapping up my 2024 I have been looking at what the wonderful people who have joined my offerings have experienced on the mat and so generously shared with me. I hope some of these comments inspire you to find time to practice and develop a deeper connection within in 2025. ❤️🙏

After my lofty ‘see you later’ speech yesterday I couldnt turn completely off until I made sure that those of you looking to start or continue your yoga practice in the New Year knew that my Tuesday evening Open Hatha Flow session will continue with my friend and yoga colleague Michelle Carton☺️

Her classes will start 21st January and run Tuesdays 7-8pm focusing on gentle yoga practice, breath-work & meditation/relaxation. Reach out to Michelle through michellesheridan29@gmail.com to book in. Drop Ins will be 15 euros and she will take payment through Revolut or cash. ❤️🙏
