🌟Andagift – Fascia and Breath Workshop🌟

Andagift - a creative inspiration, the Spirit’s Gift or the Gift of Breath in Icelandic - is a gentle, embodied workshop that invites you to explore your relationship with breath and your body.

This is not a traditional breath-work session. Instead of controlling or manipulating the breath, we focus on the felt sense of breathing, how the breath moves the body and where it meets resistance.

This workshop offers a slow and mindful approach to unwinding tension in the muscles and fascia that support breathing with slow melting stretches, self-directed massage using therapy balls and soft balls, and guided meditation. You will be led to soften holding patterns, improve mobility and create more space for your breath to move naturally.

❤️Reduce muscular tension in the chest, shoulders, and neck
❤️Increase mobility and ease in the body
❤️Find greater sense of calm and nervous system regulation

Another 6 weeks block coming up of this special space where you can release deep set tension in your body, as well as cultivating body and breath awareness with the help of slow melting stretches and self directed massage.

🌟Looking for a weekly space to focus purely on yourself and your wellbeing?🌟

Join us on Tuesday Mornings in the stunning surroundings of Glendalough House Estate and for deeply nourishing sessions centered around supporting a whole body-mind wellbeing.

Led by Kristin Kristjansdottir , you will be guided through a fascia-focused Hatha Yoga, soft melting stretches of Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release through self massage with therapy balls, all to help release long-held tension and restore ease of movement. We will explore strength, softness and spaciousness, allowing the nervous system to settle and the body to unwind.

The Practice is slow, mindful and adaptable - ideal for those who want a weekly space to care for their bodies and minds with intelligence and kindness.

🌟Held and Heard - Saturday 14th March 12-2pm 🌟

This Satuday I will be holding a very special space for women to come home again to their body and reclaim their voice.

It feels very fitting that this practice sits at a date between the International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day. For what it feels to be years now, I have carried a longing to lead a practice for women to move through the tension in their bodies and voice that is keeping them inhibited and fragmented, and allow for the felt experience of the vastness of space and connection within, with the invitation to be translated out into the world through the powerful resonance of voice.

This will be a practice where you are invited to explore the areas of your body that support your voice through fascia focused yoga and self directed massage. The emphasis will be on listening to sensations and resonance, to experience presence of tension and release, and allow for habitual holds in the body to soften so the vibrations of your voice take roots in the wholeness of space within before being released out into the world.

I finally feel that I am at the place in my teaching and experience that I can facilitate an intimate space like this one. I feel different strands of my life have contributed to creating this space and I am very excited to share it with you. All vocal explorations will be optional - gentle, playful or quiet, the choice will be yours. No prior experience needed☺️
