CONTEXT
On 11th September 1893, Swami Vivekananda delivered his historic speech at the Parliament of Religions in Chicago. This lecture will revisit the profound ideas of Advaita Vedanta that he presented and later developed in his writings and talks.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Our distinguished speaker, Pravrajika Divyanandaprana, monastic member of Sri Sarada Math, scholar, editor of SAMVIT (New Delhi), and former principal of Nivedita Vidya Mandir School, is a widely recognised author and inspirational voice on Vedanta.
This lecture not only honours Vivekananda’s global vision but also celebrates Margaret Noble (Sister Nivedita), his disciple who dedicated her life to advancing women’s education in India.
Join us for what promises to be a deeply insightful evening!
The lecture will be introduced by Professor Nathan Hill, Head of School of SLSCS & Director of Asian Studies, Trinity College Dublin.
