We had an overwhelming response to the Retreat on “Mind Management” conducted by Pravrajika Divyanandaprana, a nun of Sri Sarada Math (the sister organisation of Ramakrishna Math dedicated exclusively to nuns).
The programme was attended by around 55 participants in person and 14 participants online, joining from Ireland, the UK, Germany, and Vienna. The enriching session was deeply appreciated by all, leaving the audience inspired and reflective.

CONTEXT

On 11th September 1893, Swami Vivekananda delivered his historic speech at the Parliament of Religions in Chicago. This lecture will revisit the profound ideas of Advaita Vedanta that he presented and later developed in his writings and talks.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Our distinguished speaker, Pravrajika Divyanandaprana, monastic member of Sri Sarada Math, scholar, editor of SAMVIT (New Delhi), and former principal of Nivedita Vidya Mandir School, is a widely recognised author and inspirational voice on Vedanta.

This lecture not only honours Vivekananda’s global vision but also celebrates Margaret Noble (Sister Nivedita), his disciple who dedicated her life to advancing women’s education in India.

Join us for what promises to be a deeply insightful evening!

The lecture will be introduced by Professor Nathan Hill, Head of School of SLSCS & Director of Asian Studies, Trinity College Dublin.

We are happy to inform you that, for the first time on such a scale, we successfully organised a Residential Vedanta Retreat from 20th to 22nd June 2025. Nearly 90 participants attended the retreat, with attendees coming from Ireland, the UK, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Portugal.

The retreat was based on the 13th Chapter of the Bhagavad Gita. In addition to discourses, the programme included guided meditation, prayers, yoga classes, interactive Q&A sessions, and reflections. The speakers were Swami Sarvapriyanandaji and Swami Shantivratanandaji.

The feedback from the participants was overwhelmingly positive, and there is growing interest and demand for more such retreats in the future.
