Dear yogis 🌼 I was browsing through old phone photos when this selfie appeared and took my breath away for a moment. I took this pic early in my personal yoga journey after taking part in a stunning workshop of embodiment, breath work and realignment to self. The flower was a take home item from the workshop, which had been used in our circle.
Around this time I was facing major life challenges, a busy brain and major overwhelm. But in this moment after the workshop I felt relieved, like a load had been lightened and like my inner voice was more clear than it ever had been before. Seeing this picture I am reminded of how invigorated I was here, intensely drawn to learn all I could about this practice and its potential. (I still am!)
Taking time for yourself to really slow down, to let go of the ‘doing’ and step into ‘being’ is a small step that can shift perspectives in a truly remarkable way. Doing this regularly and making it into a practice can be transformative.
