No shows and last minute cancellations have a big impact on small businesses.
They are really difficult to fill and the majority of the time I am left short because I do be too soft to enforce my own policy. If I don’t enforce it going forward though I am going to have to change my fees to account for the substantial amount of them I have been getting over the past couple of months. I would hate to have to do that on my clients! Please keep in mind my policy is not to be mean it is just to try and avoid people not showing up and leaving me without a living wage for that month.
I completely understand that emergencies happen, and I will always try to be understanding if something unexpected comes up.
