Inspired by life experience with skin problems and seeking natural solutions, Akrona stands out in the area of natural cosmetics

The story behind this brand started with a journey of discovery when Irish born Karen Pryal made the move from North America to Greece in the Summer of 2010. The name Akrona originated on this journey inspired by ancient Macedonian dialect “Forever Beautiful”

Karen’s previous experience of 15 years in the Beauty industry both in Ireland and Canada had arisen a curious consciousness around natural - herbal remedies. Moving back toward nature from an Industry dominated by synthetic solutions her interest was propelled further by her experience with acne as a teenager and young adult.

Turning the clock forward many years having completed studies in cosmetic science , engaging in extensive testing and trials with troubled skin within her own clinical practice . Karen’s path aligned with Ireland’s leading Botox Doctor who was having a crisis of conscious around the long term effects of modern aesthetic methods.

This began with the development of highly researched natural product range combining ancient remedies with cutting edge modern technology and science. This range includes Healthcare, Dental Care, Haircare and Skincare
