✨ Rediscovering Zest for Life ✨

I know I have been quiet here, but you have not been forgotten. 💛 You hold a special place in my heart, and I am always here—just a message away. 💬

Since my summer social media detox, I have been choosing life—real, raw, unfiltered life. And honestly? It is addictive. 😌🌿

I have always believed we should work to live, not live to work. And now, I see it is the same with social media. It is a fantastic tool—but we should use it to live, not live to use it. If life becomes just links, notifications, and updates, we lose something irreplaceable—real connection. 🤝

Every time I put my phone down, I find myself choosing something else instead: the depth of human presence, the warmth of touch, the beauty of the world as it is—not through a screen, but here, now. 🌍✨

So here is my thought for you today:
Try putting the phone down for a little while. 📱⏳ Watch what happens. Notice when and why you reach for it. If it is connection you seek, maybe there are deeper ways to find it—ways that nourish, sustain, and ground you. 🌱

Because life is not waiting for us to log in. It is waiting for us to show up. And it is breathtaking—not in its noise, but in its quiet simplicity, in the moments we allow ourselves to truly experience. 💫

New year: an opportunity to start fresh—so why do plans fail and we fall back into old habits?

Every January, we set goals, build plans, and tell ourselves this time will be different. Yet many of us find ourselves slipping back into old habits. Why does this happen?

The truth is, most plans don’t account for something crucial—our emotional needs and organic desires 🌟. These are the deep, authentic longings that come from our emotional core.

When your plan focuses on “fixing” what you think is wrong, like comparing yourself to others or pushing through low self-esteem, your defence mechanisms kick in to protect you. It’s not failure—it’s self-preservation.

But when you connect with your organic desires, you create a plan that aligns with what truly drives you.

For example:
"I want to feel beautiful and desired 💃. I want to feel confident in my body, so I’ll nurture and care for it—not to fix it, but to celebrate it. This lets me feel alive and free in intimate moments."

Compare that to:
"I feel fat. She looks better than me. What if he loses interest? I need to lose weight to feel worthy."

The first comes from passion, connection, and love for yourself 💖. The second is rooted in fear and comparison. Goals aligned with organic desires create a natural flow and lasting change because they nurture and protect you.

As a process coach, I’ve seen this again and again. Plans built on emotional alignment succeed because they reflect your true self, not what you think you should be.

✨ Take a moment to pause and make it all about you. Your desires, your needs, your emotional health—let them guide your goals. And if you’re stuck in old patterns, I can help you uncover what’s holding you back and create a plan rooted in you. Let’s start this journey together. 💬💛 ✨

🎁 A Christmas Gift for Yourself: Presence Over Presents 🎄

Christmas is a time for joy and connection—but let’s be honest, it can also feel overwhelming. One way we cope is by staying busy. Cooking, cleaning, running errands... all that busyness can act as a defence mechanism, keeping us from facing uncomfortable emotions or that elephant in the room.

While it might protect us from awkward moments, busyness also shuts us off from meaningful connections. It’s easy to miss the beauty of simply being present with loved ones.

This Christmas, I invite you to gift yourself presence. 🌟

Pause and look around.
Ask yourself:
Who do I want to connect with?
How can I spend this time meaningfully? 💭
Put your phone away—no photos, no scrolling, no distractions. 📵
Instead, focus on the little things: the warmth of a smile 😊, the joy of a shared story, the deliciousness of the meal 🍴. Tell someone what you admire about them instead of giving a like ❤️.

Christmas isn’t about perfection—it’s about connection. Let’s step away from the filters and embrace real, authentic moments together.

Wishing you a Christmas full of love, laughter, and true connection. 🎅✨

A Gentle Reminder: Gift Yourself This Moment

As the year draws to a close, many of us are caught up in the rush—writing Christmas lists, finding the perfect gifts, and ensuring our loved ones feel cherished.

At the same time, this is the season to indulge. 🎄🍷🎂 It’s festive, after all! We often let go of our goals, thinking, “I’ll start fresh in the New Year.” But let’s be honest—how often do those resolutions stick beyond a couple of months?

What if we did things differently this time?

Here’s an invitation for you to pause. 🕯️ Find a cosy corner, wrap yourself in a blanket, light a candle with a comforting scent, and prepare your favourite drink. Take a moment to reflect on 2024.

What did you wish for yourself this year? What dreams or experiences did you hope for but didn’t achieve? Write them down. 📝

Now, look at your list. Before you leap into 2025 with resolutions, ask yourself: what from this list could you offer yourself as a gift this Christmas? Perhaps it’s a promise to rest, to nurture yourself, or to take the first small step towards a dream you’ve been putting off.

🎁 Make it a gift. Wrap it up in your heart and place it under the Christmas tree alongside all the other presents. This is a gift from you to you.

What will you gift yourself this Christmas? Let me know—I’d love to hear! 💛

Is Your Guilt Helping or Hurting You? 🤔

Guilt can be a tricky emotion, but when understood, it holds powerful lessons. Let’s explore justified and unjustified guilt and why knowing the difference can transform your emotional well-being.

💡 Justified Guilt

This type of guilt arises when your actions cause harm to someone else. For example, if you decide to drink, drive, and harm someone, the guilt you feel is justified. 🚗⚠️

Justified guilt is a healthy emotion—it encourages you to reflect 🔍, make amends 🤝, and avoid repeating harmful behaviours 🚫. It’s a guide, helping you repair relationships and find closure. 💞

Therapeutically, working through justified guilt is healing. 🌱 It strengthens trust, fosters understanding, and leads to personal growth. 🌟

⚠️ Unjustified Guilt

Unjustified guilt occurs when you feel guilty without doing anything wrong. This misplaced guilt can create harmful patterns, such as over-caretaking 🧹 or staying in toxic relationships 🚨.

Left unchecked, it can become an automatic cycle—where you feel responsible for everyone and everything, leading to emotional exhaustion. 😓 It can even cloud your awareness of unhealthy dynamics in your relationships. 🌀

Addressing unjustified guilt in therapy is essential. 🛠️ It frees you from emotional burdens, helps you identify toxic patterns, and restores balance to your life. ⚖️

🌟 Guilt as a Teacher

Understanding whether your guilt is justified or unjustified is the first step to healing. 🧘 Therapy can help you embrace healthy guilt as a guide and release what no longer serves you. 🎁

Are you carrying guilt that doesn’t belong to you? Now is the time to let it go and reclaim your emotional freedom. 💫

Guilt: A Compassionate Compass

Guilt often gets a bad reputation as an uncomfortable feeling we should avoid. But what if guilt could be seen differently? 🤔

Imagine guilt as a gentle messenger, not as a burden on your heart. 💌
A healthy relationship with guilt can actually strengthen your connections, building love, loyalty, and safety. 💖

The key lies in how we respond to guilt. When our relationship with guilt is unhealthy, it can push us to over-sacrifice, often at the expense of our own needs, as we try to relieve that uncomfortable feeling.
Sound familiar? 🤔 This is not sustainable – or healthy. 🛑

Healthy guilt, however, is a first-class teacher.
It is a quiet, humble energy that nudges us to reflect, showing us what we could have done differently.☯️

When we allow ourselves to sit with it in a balanced way, guilt can guide us to make amends, helping us not only to forgive ourselves but also to rebuild love, trust, and connection. 💫

Embrace guilt as a wise guide. When we learn to listen to it with compassion, it becomes a gift for healing and growth. ✨

Stuck in the Middle? Here is Why Procrastination Might Be Telling You Something." 🧭

Have you ever felt torn between two parts of yourself, each pulling in opposite directions? This inner conflict often fuels procrastination, leaving us feeling stuck and unable to move forward. 🛑

Our personalities are not set in stone. As we journey through life, new aspects emerge, shaped by different experiences. Sometimes, these newer parts clash with older versions of ourselves, creating a kind of internal tug-of-war. One voice might say, “Stick to the diet,” while another whispers, “A doughnut will not hurt.” 🍩 Or perhaps a part of you wants to pursue a new career, while another part holds back, valuing the security of your current job. 💼

This push and pull can lead to a kind of paralysis—a space where indecision feeds procrastination. Recognising this inner conflict is the first step. Notice the opposing thoughts, then take a step back. Imagine sitting at a table with these parts of yourself, listening as a mediator. The goal? Letting your adult self find balance, helping these parts work together rather than against each other. ⚖️

Next time you find yourself procrastinating, ask yourself: What is really in conflict here? Taking the time to mediate between these parts might be the key to moving forward with clarity and purpose. 🌱✨

Procrastination. We all experience it, but what if, instead of judging it or trying to resist it with various techniques, we looked at it from a fresh perspective? 🤔✨

In holistic integrative psychotherapy, procrastination can sometimes reveal an internal conflict—a fascinating interaction between different parts of our personality. This inner conflict can keep us feeling stuck, unable to progress. But what if we embraced this as an opportunity for deeper self-exploration? 🌱🧘‍♀️

By examining what is truly happening beneath the surface, we can start to resolve these conflicts, allowing procrastination to dissipate naturally. 🌊 Through this process, we connect more deeply with who we truly are, finding a renewed sense of clarity and purpose. 🌟💡

As a psychotherapist and coach, I have found that this approach to procrastination can be an invaluable tool in fostering growth and self-awareness. 🌈💫

Hello there, I’m still here and haven’t forgotten about you!

🌟 You might be wondering what I’ve been up to lately, so let me share.
I’ve been fully immersed in my practice, connecting deeply with my wonderful clients, helping them achieve meaningful therapeutic change.
Some of my clients have now successfully completed their therapy, and I’ve welcomed new faces into the practice—so it’s been a busy time! 🧘‍♀️💼

✨ As a psychotherapist, I’m always learning and finding new ways to support my clients. One thing I find so important is emotional hygiene. 🧘‍♂️
Recently, I decided to expand my skill set and completed a Tibetan bowl sound massage course.
I’m now able to offer this beautiful practice as a part of emotional hygiene for those who have completed their therapy or for anyone looking to reset their nervous system between sessions. 🎶💆‍♀️

Personal development is a lifelong journey for me as a psychotherapist, and I’m excited to bring these new skills into my work. 🌱

Thank you for being part of this journey. 💫🙏🏻

Namaste 🙏🏻😎🧘‍♀️

I am turning on airplane mode on my phone…🪁🛩

My heart is ready to take off, and my soul is sitting comfortably with my belt on, looking out into the world…

My seat number is 7a…right at the window…you are welcome to sit next to me…all you need to do is to put your phone on airplane mode…and look out with me…it is right out there for us…

Things that really matter in life, connections that give us love, authenticity, and life stories that make us belong and feel safe.

My body is rested, and my mind is slowing down to be present…

The sun is exploding with recharging energy… the wind makes me feel unstoppable. I can do anything with joy. ☀️🌅🌄

Lightness is fulfilling my heart. 💚

I am feeling loved and I have love to give back. 🫶🍃

It is nice for me to sit next to you, and as you are reading this I am inviting you to check in with yourself how often are you on airplane mode flying high into authentic feelings and experiences.

Focus on what is important for you – that will make your mind grow and your heart glow. 🌱🌟

I am on airplane mode till the beginning of September. I will not post on my social media. I am going to detox my mind and soul so it will have the capacity to absorb hugs, kisses and butterfly wishes from the universe.💚✨️🌌🕉🧘‍♀️🫂

I can't wait to see you again and catch up – I am curious how you are going to experience your airplane mode.😎🫶🍃💚

Did you know nature can instantly calm your mind? 🌿

🌬️ Imagine the soothing sounds of birds singing and trees swaying in the wind. Nature has an incredible ability to calm our nervous system and boost mental health. As a psychotherapist, I recommend my clients spend more time outdoors to reconnect and find balance.

🌳I love forest baths! They allow me to experience the peaceful sounds of the wind, the smell of the grass, and the beauty of the colours that inspire me every day. When I choose my outfit, I never wonder what to wear. I always go with the energy I feel, usually drawn from the magical moments I notice the charming colours around me.

🫖 Sometimes it even gets better! I have something organic and free – horsetail! it's fabulous for your skin and hair because of the minerals it contains. your nervous system will love it too. it's so simple – just become mindful and notice the resources around you. go for it!
