🧶 Recently, some of our residents have been putting their creativity to work in the Knitting Club, crafting beautiful handmade items for the upcoming Christmas Fair. 🎄

It’s wonderful to see their skill, focus, and teamwork in action, and we can’t wait to showcase their creations at the festive event. A big thank-you to everyone involved for making such wonderful crafts with skill and elegance✨🎉

🎸 We were thrilled to welcome Brian in recently, guitar in hand, ready to bring a wave of festive cheer to our residents.🎅 With a wonderful mix of classic Christmas carols, much-loved sing-along tunes and stories, he had the whole room singing and joining in!👏

A huge and heartfelt thank you to Brian for giving his time and energy, and for bringing so much happiness to our home. Moments like these are what make Christmas at The Four Ferns so special. ❤️🎶

Our residents at The Four Ferns recently enjoyed some wonderful entertainment with an interactive Magic Table. ✨ From colourful games to calming visual activities, the Magic Table offers a fun and engaging way for residents to connect, stimulate their senses, and enjoy meaningful moments together.

We’re proud to incorporate modern technology into our daily life here, using technology like the Magic Table to support wellbeing, spark creativity, and bring a bit of extra joy into our residents’ day. 💛

We were delighted to have Rita, our very first resident, help us begin the 6th anniversary celebrations at The Four Ferns Foxrock recently. 💚✨ It felt truly special to mark this milestone with someone who has been part of our story from day one.

As we celebrate six wonderful years, we want to take a moment to recognise and thank everyone who has contributed to making The Four Ferns the warm, supportive, and welcoming community it is today.

To our residents past and present, thank you for bringing heart, humour, and joy into our home every single day. You are the reason The Four Ferns feels like family.♥️

Our residents were treated to a beautiful concert during the week featuring an incredible tenor and soprano whose voices lit up the entire room. From classic favourites to uplifting melodies, every note brought smiles, stirred memories, and created a wonderful sense of togetherness. It was one of those moments where you could feel the atmosphere. 💛

A heartfelt thank you to The Music Machine and the inspiring Music in the Moment project by .ie . Their dedication to bringing high-quality live music into care communities continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.👏

📸 Life lately at The Four Ferns Foxrock has been full of activity and good company. Residents have been enjoying bridge together, spending time potting plants for our home, keeping active with gentle exercise, and relaxing over card games. We’ve even had a cosy movie in the afternoon to round things off! 🎬.

🎄 The festive season has officially begun, and our residents are already hard at work creating a warm and welcoming Christmas atmosphere throughout the home. From crafting decorations to preparing handmade pieces for our communal spaces, there’s a lovely sense of teamwork and fun in the air.

These moments of creativity and connection are always a highlight of the season, and it’s wonderful to see everyone enjoying the process together.

🎶 We were delighted to welcome the incredible Eimear Quinn and Music machine for a special concert at The Four Ferns Foxrock. 👏

The concert created a wonderful opportunity for residents to come together, enjoy live music, and share in a truly memorable experience. Smiles, laughter, and even a few sing-alongs made the afternoon extra special.

We are so grateful to have had the chance to host this event in collaboration with Music Machine from the Music in the Moment project from .ie . Bringing live music into our home is always a pleasure, and experiences like this remind us of the power of music to inspire, comfort, and connect us all.
