Thrilled to welcome Julie to our team! 🎉
Julie, a Cork native, achieved her BSc in Dietetics from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, in 2019. Post-graduation, she joined the NHS Lothian Weight Management Service, where she discovered the vital role of nurturing healthier food relationships. This ignited her enthusiasm for assisting those with disordered eating, leading her to volunteer with Bodywhy’s and eventually become a specialist eating disorder dietitian. Julie also earned a Diploma in Sport and Exercise Nutrition from Ulster University, focusing on underfueling, disordered eating, and eating disorders in athletics. She is dedicated to fostering positive food relationships and aiding both teenagers and adults with Eating Disorders, Weight Management, Hypothalamic Amenorrhea, and RED-S.
