In the lead-up to International Day of Persons with Disabilities, this week we were proud to host an inspiring session with rugby pioneer Ian McKinley.

Ian, renowned for his international rugby career and advocacy for the visually impaired, shared his powerful story of resilience and the importance of teamwork. His journey reminds us that inclusion is not just a principle—it’s an action we take every day.

We were also joined by a fantastic panel of colleagues from our Ability Pillar who shared practical insights on how we can make our workplace more inclusive through small, meaningful steps.

Last week we were proud to host the first cohort of students in the PwC Empowering Futures Programme, alongside their parents, principals and teachers.

Over the next six years, these students will receive financial support and long-term mentoring through second level and college and creating a pathway toward our PwC graduate programme.

We were delighted to welcome students from Marino College, Dublin and O’Connell’s CBS, who also met their PwC mentors for the first time.

We're excited to support their journeys and grateful to our partner schools, mentors and families for making this possible.

Yesterday our Cork and Dublin offices lit up in pink, blue, and purple to support Féileacáin- Wave of Light.

With buildings lit up across the nation for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, we stand with those who have faced the heartbreaking loss of a baby.

Nearly 16,000 people in Ireland, 5,000 of them children, don’t have a place they call home, and the crisis is deepening every day.

As our firm's main charity partner, PwC is proud to support Focus Ireland's Shine a Light Night 2025 on 10 October by hosting our very first sleep out at PwC Spencer Dock.

Focus Ireland’s Shine a Light Night is their flagship campaign that raises vital funds to help tackle homelessness. It invites individuals and companies across Ireland to swap their bed for a sleeping bag, demonstrating solidarity and raising awareness of the challenges faced by those without a home.

PwC colleagues are part of a community of volunteers around the country who are sleeping out for Shine a Light Night to raise both vital funds and awareness for Focus Ireland.

From all of us, we wish our colleagues and all those supporting by sleeping out the very best of luck.

Considering unlocking your future potential with a graduate programme at PwC?

We're committed to nurturing talent and helping you grow further in your career. Sophie, our early careers recruiter, shares her top tips to ensure your application stands out:

1️⃣ Make it personal: While AI tools are helpful, ensure your application reflects your unique voice. Use them as a guide, but let your individuality shine through.

2️⃣ Showcase your potential: Don’t hold back on your accomplishments. Ask a friend or mentor to review your application to ensure you're highlighting your strengths and transferable skills.

3️⃣ Do your research: Visit us at your university career fairs and ask about our roles, life at PwC, and trends in the service lines you’re interested in. This will help you craft an informed and detailed application.
