"It is important that we learn the art of resting."
Thich Nhat Hanh

We need to re-learn the balance between activity and rest. We need to give ourselves the permission to rest.
During this weekend we remind ourselves how to stop, to calm our minds and body and to truly rest. When we stop, we return to our breath, bring body and mind together. We can then recognise how distractions can give way to concentration, connection and to a sense of aliveness.

Bettina is an Order Member Dharma teacher in the Plum Village tradition. She offers retreats, days of mindfulness and year long trainings in Berlin. In these challenging times she if very grateful for Thich Nhat Hanh’s teaching on “Being Peace/ Peace in Myself Peace in the World. It is a great joy in her life to practice and share the Dharma”.
