We are seeking an accomodation assistant / housekeeper to join our team.

Full Time 30-40hrs per week.

Shifts: 7am to 3pm , 8am - 4pm and 8am to 4.30pm shifts. Working every 2nd weekend.

The ideal candidate will have:
Previous housekeeping experience
Ability to work as part of a team
Excellent customer care and communication skills
Ability to work on their own initiative
Attention to detail
Understanding and willingness to learn about Infection prevention & control practices

The roles will involve:
General Cleaning Duties
Ensure the correct use of cleaning materials and equipment.
Adherence to all policies and procedures
Working as part of a team to provide an excellent housekeeping & catering service

We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team in Lisheen Nursing Home. 20-30hrs per week. Shifts: 9am to 2pm and 10am to 6pm shifts over 4/5 days per week, working every 2nd weekend.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant experience essential.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Excellent customer care and communication skills.
Ability to work on their own initiative.
Attention to detail.
HACCP Training.

The roles will involve:
General Kitchen Duties
Ensure the correct use of equipment.
Adherence to all policies and procedures
Working as part of a team to provide an excellent catering service

It is with great sadness to learn of the passing of our dear friend & colleague Molly Brennan this week. Molly worked with us for 15 years as a Staff Nurse and later as an Activites Therpaist. She will be greatly missed by both the residents she cared for and those who were lucky enough to call her their friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time. May She Rest in Peace 🙏

We were delighted to be able to host Clondalkin Toastmasters last week where they honoured one of our residents; Muiris O’Connor.

We had a really great afternoon this week honouring one of our longest serving and founding members, Muiris O’Connor. It was an absolute pleasure and we're delighted that we and Lucan Toastmasters had this opportunity. The afternoon was a mix of speeches, poetry and lots of laughter. Perhaps an annual event is called for!
