Lisheen Nursing Home has the capacity to accommodate a maximum of 112 residents. We accommodate both female and male residents of all age groups with the following care needs: General care, Young Chronic Sick, Mental and Physical Illness, Long Term care, Day care, Dementia care, Palliative care, Physical Disabilities and Intellectual Disabilities. Our ethos is to put the interests of the resident at the heart of our decision making and aim to provide high quality person centred nursing care to all residents of our nursing home.

We are seeking an accomodation assistant / housekeeper to join our team.

Full Time 30-40hrs per week.

Shifts: 7am to 3pm , 8am - 4pm and 8am to 4.30pm shifts. Working every 2nd weekend.

The ideal candidate will have:
Previous housekeeping experience
Ability to work as part of a team
Excellent customer care and communication skills
Ability to work on their own initiative
Attention to detail
Understanding and willingness to learn about Infection prevention & control practices

The roles will involve:
General Cleaning Duties
Ensure the correct use of cleaning materials and equipment.
Adherence to all policies and procedures
Working as part of a team to provide an excellent housekeeping & catering service
