Hayoka Yoga with Amy Kokoszka

Hayoka Yoga with Amy Kokoszka Sharing Ideas on Yin and Ashtanga Yoga, Nutrition, Meditation, Addiction, Loving and Letting Go.

Hayoka is a Native American term given to me when I was a young girl. My hope is that I can help those around me to be catalyst for their own change; through my teaching of yoga, on my intimate retreats and through discussion on being a wild and free human in this day and age.

Looking back over my life; without children, without authority, with just me and the hose who love me…. shaped by this love story … by the struggles, I am here now to say… you do not need a child to mother… a partner to have pleasure… a life of “normal” to feel loved whole… you need trust in your story and love as it unfolds n front of you … love for self… meaning without perimeters … love for the moment you are in.

There is a passage in the book that says a woman’s psyche is like a desert.🌵

For a thousand miles there is nothing!🌺

But there in the middle of that emptiness is one brilliant red flower.🌺

It is important that we turn our attention to that flower.🌺

We should not be fooled by outside guises or by thinking the grass is greener on the other side.🌺

Every woman’s story is powerful!🌺

This is an opportunity to recreate history!

To reclaim the power of story through somatic breath-work, powerful writing prompts, and connection with women on a soul level.

This work brings us back into a grounded state.

So we can fulfill some of our wildest dreams!

Join Amy at The Ennis Yoga Studio for the start of the Women and Wolves series, kicking off with the Introductory Workshop on Monday April 21st from 12:30 to 6:00 PM.

This four-month journey begins with a powerful introduction to the Wild Woman and Wounded Healer archetypes that live within each of us. This work is inspired by Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés and her wider body of work on the instinctual, intuitive nature of women.

You’ll walk away with insight, clarity, and tools to decide if you’re ready to dive deeper into the three-part, in-depth study taking place in May, June and July at the beautiful Ennis Yoga Studio.

To book your place, please contact Brenda at Ennis Yoga Studio.

To learn more about the full course or apply directly, email Amy at hayoka.yoga@gmail.com or message her privately here.

This series is for women who are ready to reclaim their freedom, strengthen their sovereignty and explore deep soul work. It’s powerful, transformative and rooted in wild truth.

Questions? Reach out. We’d love to hear from you.

Our Story

Hayoka is a Native American term given to me when I was a young girl. It can be defined as a trickster and a catalyst for change. My hope is that I can help those around me to be catalyst for their own change; through my teaching of yoga, on one of my intimate retreats and through discussions on being a wild my hope is that we can all find freedom.
