About Thomas O'Connor
Stress, fear panic, avoidance, anxiety, phobia, inhibitions and shyness were foremost in driving Thomas to 20 years of alcoholism. Having reached a point where he was “close to death”, Thomas stopped, and for the first time in his life, it was for no other reason than he didn’t want to feel like he did anymore. Having found a happiness that he never thought possible, Thomas chose to go down a road where he could help people who were going through what he had. In order to do this, he had to find the people who would put the time and effort into teaching and training him. He began this when he was lucky to meet the brilliant psychotherapist, Patricia Kelly. “She explained everything about panic to me and because of her; I was able to face the fears I had always avoided”. All of those crippling feelings mentioned above were gone forever. Thomas relates to people plagued by these feelings and even more, to those who fall into addiction because of them. Combining his studies with his life experience, Thomas is well-equipped to help people who suffer from any or all of the issues mentioned above and to show them that there is always hope but we must look for it. He enjoys helping people who are going through what he went through and derives great joy from seeing them lead happier lives. He has studied under Dr Shane Butler and Dr Marguerite Woods
- Both authors and luminaries in the field of addiction studies - at Trinity College Dublin. He has also studied under the outstanding Antoinette Stanbridge and Colm Early while working towards his qualifications in Counselling & Psychotherapy. Thomas is now a Counsellor/Psychotherapist with over 20years sobriety behind him. Having worked up to 1,000 hours with clients on a 1-to-1, basis, Thomas now hopes to add talks and classes to his business in the near future. Thomas is always happy to speak with people who are suffering from any of the problems you have seen mentioned here. Please feel free to contact him at 0877115085 or at tommyo85@hotmail.com

Just got the following from a friend. The story relates to her friend's son. The last line in the post is from that boy. Please watch over your kids at all times. They could be the victims or perpetrators. You don't want them to be either.

"Just thought I'd let people know I shared a post from my mate Hannah about her son James being bullied at school I'm devastated to say that last night at 11,35 James was found dead in his bedroom he left a note saying sorry to his mam and telling her the thought of going to any school was too much he wanted to be with his dad who died 10 months ago , parents take note your child could be the reason that a child like James takes his life schools put a stop to bullying on your premises we are heartbroken that a 13 year old child would rather die than face a classroom Stop Bullying Now sending love to Hannah and her family xx"

I DISPISE SCHOOL BULLIES THEY WILL CONTINUE THIS THROUGHOUT THEIR PATHETIC LIFES 👿
