Online booking is now available for our specialist ADHD and Autism assessment clinics at Newcastle Medical Centre.

Children’s ADHD Clinic 🌈

We are incredibly proud of this service and of the calm, thoughtful, and truly child-centred care our team provides to children and families every day. Creating a supportive, kind, and thorough ADHD assessment pathway has been a priority for us, and we’re delighted to be able to offer this to families.

Our clinic is led by experienced Consultant Psychiatrists who also work within the HSE, and provides a comprehensive ADHD assessment including a full developmental and medical history, parent and teacher questionnaires, a detailed clinical ADHD assessment, and a consultant psychiatric review — all delivered under one roof with time, care, and compassion.

💶 All-inclusive assessment fee: €1,250
🩺 Receipts provided for insurers — many families may be able to claim back through VHI, Laya Healthcare, and other health insurers (cover depends on individual plans).

This is a service we truly believe in and are very proud to offer to children and families.

We are incredibly proud of this service and of the calm, thoughtful, and child-centred care our team provides to children and families throughout the autism assessment journey. Creating a supportive, respectful, and thorough pathway has been a priority for us, and we’re delighted to be able to offer this to families.

Our clinic is Consultant Psychiatrist-led, with clinicians who also work within the HSE, and provides a comprehensive autism assessment including clinical and psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and discussion of support and treatment options where appropriate — always guided by the child’s and family’s individual needs.

We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join our growing team.

-Key Responsibilities:

• Managing patient appointments and schedules using the Socrates booking system
• Acting as a first point of contact for patients, both in person and by phone
• Handling patient enquiries with professionalism, discretion, and empathy
• Managing correspondence, referrals, and medical documentation
• Liaising with clinicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality at all times
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic

-The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a medical or GP practice
• Experience using the Socrates booking system
• Strong computer literacy and administrative skills
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A professional, patient-focused approach
