🌿 Up to 70% of chronic ankle pain comes from old micro-injuries that were never fully rehabilitated — the body remembers what we try to ignore.
🤍 Tight calf and foot muscles restrict blood flow, slowing recovery and increasing tension throughout the lower leg.
🌿 The ankle contains 3 main joints and more than 30 ligaments, so even a small overload can create noticeable discomfort.
🍀 Weakness in the deep stabilizing muscles of the foot often leads to repeated sprains, swelling, and instability while walking.
🌿 Limited ankle mobility increases rotational stress on the knee joint, often causing inner or outer knee pain.
🍀 When the ankle loses its alignment, the hip joint is forced to compensate, creating gluteal tension and reduced hip rotation.
Poor dorsiflexion makes the foot roll inward (pronation), stressing the arch and the small bones of the ankle.
🍀 Weak ankle support is also a hidden cause of the “big toe bone” (Hallux Valgus).
When the ankle cannot stabilize the foot, the forefoot collapses inward, shifting pressure to the big toe joint. Over time, this leads to deformation, inflammation, and a growing bony bump near the big toe.
