It is with much sadness that we have to announce that Mrs Best (Ronnie) passed away at her home 17 October 2020. Mrs Best was a valuable member of The KIngswood Pharmacy Team for a number of years, and was well known and respected by customers and staff alike. Sending our condolences to her Husband and her family at this sad time. End of an Era.

KINGSWOOD PHARAMCY - COVID 19

In an effort to adhere to best practice and HSE guidelines, while continuing to provide a full range of pharmacy services, we will be suggesting the following:

1.Social Separation.
It is best not to dwell in the pharmacy. To prevent this we are asking people to call ahead to order prescription for collection, or to order prescriptions for delivery. We have introduced a dedicated phone number for this purpose

Call or text this number and we will prepare or deliver or call back. This number will be operational from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.

2.Cleaning.
We are adhering to best practice in relation to cleaning and disinfecting our pharmacy. This is to protect our customers and our staff. If required by HSE guidelines we may be required to wear gloves and/or masks.

3.Stocks of medicines.
Currently there are no new medicine shortages as a result of Corona virus.

4.Opening hours
We will be open as per our usual opening hours. There will be no change in this.

We recognise that current circumstances and guidelines are very fluid and can change quickly. But rest assured we will continue to provide full pharmacy services taking due cognisance of patient welfare, staff safety and HSE best practice guidelines.

Big thanks to all our customers for their generosity in donating so much to such a worthy cause. We managed to raise almost 2000 euro for the Irish Society for Colitis and Crohns.
Oh! And better mention Robert...
He actually completed the minor matter of running the Marathon! Congratulations on that too😏

The Irish Society for Colitis and Crohn’s disease receives ZERO funding from the HSE.
It helps the many people who suffer from these debilitating diseases and who don’t talk much about them.
I’m trying to raise some much needed funds by running mostly, walking if I need to and even crawling if I have to, around our beautiful capital city in the Dublin Marathon on 27th October 2019.
I’m not too fussed about the time but I would like to raise a bit for this worthy cause.
