My course and teaching approach makes understanding the science of your body really accessible and, importantly, I back it up with evidence-based research.

I read this article some time ago. It doesn’t surprise me. It does make me sad though.

I always try to steer my patients & students toward chem free / organic period products like .are.riley. They’re Irish ladies and awesome 👏

What period products do you use and why?

Yeeeeow! I’m super nervecited to announce the dates for my Autumn course this year! 🍂🩸

This course teaches you about pelvic anatomy & menstrual cycle physiology through an accessible and scientifically integral teaching approach.

That means I do a sh*t loada research and break it down into fun and digestible learning.

I had a bloody (pun intended) awesome time teaching this course in the Spring of this year and I’m thrilled to be offering this shiny second edition.

There’s some more course info in my bio.
My website is still under construction so the extended course info is coming soon…
If you have a question in the meantime please shoot me an email or DM.

Have you ever stopped to think about how you actually came into existence?

Well, it all started because your mum had a menstrual cycle and ovulated.

This is kinda special.

🩸Pelvic & Menstrual Cycle Science Course🩸

This has been brewing in my brain for over a year now. I’m nervecited to share it.☺️

This course is a beta-run for the modules I’m developing for later in 2023.

🟣 This means, this course will be a small group of 10 participants. I intend for the sessions to be both engaging and an experiential learning style.

🟣 Being a beta-course it also means I have a lot of material to try out!
For those with a MCA practice this will feel really great! The course will help deepen the knowledge of your current practice.
For those completely new to body learnings this course will be an empowered step in getting to know your body better. No previous experience or education is necessary to take part. Entry requirements include inhabiting a body.

🟣 I’ll be setting up an online group platform for participants where you’ll have access to video recordings and any research material I use for the course content.

Practicalities

🟢 In the 4 online sessions we’ll be exploring the physical anatomy, physiology and neurology of the female body and the menstrual cycle.

🟢 During in person day, we’ll develop an understanding of dysfunctions associated with the menstrual cycle and conditions that can occur in the female body. I really feel like these topics deserve a day in togetherness. We’ll also spend time knitting together everything that was important to us from the online teachings.

If you’d like to sign up or would like more information please DM or email me at info@mamome.me

My aims when treating musculoskeletal issues are to

💥 help alleviate pain and
💪 improve functional movement.

HOW I do this and what’s involved depends on

✅ what your values are as a patient and
✅ what you’re wanting to achieve from treatment.

❌ I don’t do cookie cutter treatment protocols ❌

🏃‍♀️Are you looking to get back to running 2 marathons a month?
🐕 Is it that you wanna walk the dog daily without being in pain?
👩🏽‍🍼Are you recovering postpartum and adjusting to your new body and roles as a parent?

EveryBODY is different and treatment approaches should reflect that.

If this is the kinda approach you’re wanting in a physical therapist, get in touch to arrange an appointment.

Moving away from body education for just a dollop, I wanna tell you about my clinic practice 🙌

I’m an orthopaedic physical therapist & craniosacral therapist, practising in Dublin.
I’m also in my 5th (and final 👏) year of my degree in osteopathic medicine 🤓

✨A patient centred approach is at the core of my practice✨

This means I take the time to listen to what you NEED and together we decide on how to get those needs met… more on that to come.

If this is the kinda approach you’re wanting in a physical therapist, get in touch to arrange an appointment.

Same same but different. 👏👏👏

The cl****is and p***s have a very similar anatomical make up in terms of:
💪 Erectile tissues
🫀 Vasculature &
🧠 Nerve supply

The differences are:
💋 The cl****is is internal (except for the g***s).
🔬 The space through which the vasculature and nerve supply fits is MUCH SMALLER in the cl****is.
🥰 The cl****is is primarily an organ of pleasure, while p***s has the additional jobs of ejactulation and urination 🧻

✨Cliteracy✨ promotes equality in terms of education, health care and sexual pleausre between the sexes.

Now, it’s worth asking the question - how clitorate do you think you are? 😏

Leave a comment or DM me, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this subject. ❤️🙏

These images are taken straight out of the Irish junior cert SPHE training resources.

No wonder people think the cl****is is hard to find.

It’s completely omitted from the sagittal diagrams (as is the v***a) of the female genitalia.

Meanwhile, it’s so small in the transverse diagram, that the line indicating it is bigger than the dot that is apparently the cl****is.

The sagittal diagram of the internal and external male genitalia is by enlarge correctly represented.

The omission of complete and correct female sexual anatomy in our education perpetuates confusion and shame.

Personally, I don’t think the lesser vestibular glands are any less great than the greater vestibular glands.

Do you?  🤔

Our Story

Yaeli is a yoga teacher, physical therapist and a student at the Irish College of Osteopathic Medicine. In her clinic practice in Dublin City Center, Yaeli's therapeutic experience ranges from treating professional athletes with acute injuries to office workers with chronic back pains. She is no stranger to dealing with pain and all the ways it can present in the body. While teaching yoga, she takes an intuitive approach, exploring the body’s most efficient, soft and powerful ways of moving in space. Honouring the fact that anybody can do yoga, but no body is designed to do yoga like any other body.
